Operation Rescue’s Advisory Board Issues Statement on Mr. Terry’s Extremism

Wichita, KS - Yesterday, Randall Terry, who is regrettably traveling to the Roeder trial in Wichita, stated in a news release, "We are not coming to condone or condemn Scott Roeder's actions," and dared to compare Roeder to the Civil War figure John Brown.
The Advisory Board of Operation Rescue issues the following statement on Randall Terry's refusal to condemn violence.
"The Board of Operation Rescue wants to make it clear that Randall Terry has no affiliation or involvement with Operation Rescue. That has been the case for over 17 years.
"Sadly, Randall Terry has chosen to abandon the Christ-centered principles contained in the historic Operation Rescue Pledge of Non-violence. By refusing to condemn the actions of Scott Roeder, Mr. Terry has completely abandoned the core principles of Operation Rescue.
"Mr. Terry's relentless thirst for media attention has led him down a road of extremism, fringe actions, and bizarre media stunts which have isolated him from the pro-life community and the timeless principles of an organization he helped establish.
"Our prayer is that Randall will return to a place of humility and sanity and once again embrace the cross of Christ and stop choosing to be involved in cheap and pathetic public relation stunts that harm the pro-life message."

Sorry for not responding to your post.
It's just that I don't quite know how to respond to someone who contradicts themselves in one simple statement:
I dont oppose Operation Rescue, I have supported them financially; they have abandoned the cause because its become less than comfey.
So... You support something even though they have abandoned the cause?
You must be a liberal. Talking out of both sides of you mouth at once.
Now. Here's you chance to respond back to me. With something equally as lame as your post # 20. And when I don't respond to your lame reply; then you'll know I remain even more convinced of your inane logic.

"
So... You support something even though they have abandoned the cause?" Lack of reading comprehension, or desire to dissemble? - I used the past tense (google the words) which you failed to understand. - The only lame posts here have your name below them.
You posted to this thread with what you thought was the politically correct response, undercutting America's #1 anti-abortion activist, but now are forced to issue 'pop' comments in the stead of a logical and truthful answer.
Study the "doctrine of necessity" some time. You won't like it because it requires something you don't appear to possess.
You could have just truthfully answered my first post to you, but apparently that wouldn't have accomplished your purpose.

Fallacy of the undistributed middle ;^) We will no doubt see a lot more of it in the coming days since the DNC scum have been instructed to work on dividing conservatives.

There is a limited field of medical school trained doctors who will perform wholesale slaughter that the leftists desire, thus there is a scare that eliminating a few will close down the field all together. Remember, leftists accuse their opponents of exactly what they would do if they could get away with it. And leftists hide behind political correctness, being the cowards they are.

Just burns me when people attack Scott Roeder as though he cut down some upstanding, sterling citizen. Especially the spineless clowns that are left in Operation Fescue.

Violence against abortion providers is worthless.
Randal Terry, if you want a revolution, don’t you know you can count me out.
If you really want to change things, then peacefully demonstrate outside their clinics!

There are those on this forum who will continue to defend Terry...
I'm not one of them.
Terry jumped the shark way back when....and I find him an embarrassment.
For all the good, hard working pro-lifers who shun the limelight and only care for the lives of babies, I applaud.
For Terry, who lost his way, I shudder.
He's an intelligent man who I once thought had a vision....I hope he realizes what he's become.

So you really think it’s okay to murder abortionists?
Or just the ones who do late-term abortions?
And if you DO feel it’s okay to murder abortionists, why haven’t we heard about a series of murders taking place across the country? Do you perhaps not want to follow your beliefs to their final solution?

I would call this one “Justifiable Homicide.”
I commend the courage of the shooter in sacrificing his own freedom; I don’t know if I could do the same.
Do you consider the murder of innocent children acceptable?

No, I don’t consider the murder of children to be acceptable.
But neither do I accept the murder of abortionists to be acceptable.
They’re both murder, and they’re both wrong.
If you have the opinion that it’s okay to murder people committing heinous sins like abortion, then do you start shooting doctors who prescribe the pill, which can be an abortifacient?
Do you murder fertility clinic doctors, where they kill fertilized eggs to selectively harvest a few babies?
It goes on and on, and it’s not the place of private individuals to kill to stop those moral wrongs.
I’m not saying all “illegal” actions are wrong. I was a member of Operation Rescue back when it started and went on quite a few rescues up and down the west coast. Thank God I was never arrested, the leaders always worked out arrangements with the police to where we protested for a day, then left, and they wouldn’t arrest.
But linking arms and singing songs has NOTHING to do with the murder of another, which is an absolute sin unless you’re defending yourself or another, or unless you’re a legitimate agent of the state executing a Ted Bundy or such.

Uh...illegitimate state?
Which state do you suggest is illegitimate, America?
Venezuela?
