Good points. In this particular case—as long as there’s not much chance of any kind of Republican getting his seat, it would be useful to have him. Numbers matter, as you say, and he’s going to vote how he’s going to vote on domestic matters no matter what, but he would be useful on procedure. This being the case only if there’s no shot of getting a Republican elected to his seat, which there isn’t.

Don’t even let him into the caucus. He’ll just drag it left.

Don’t bother Joe.

Better yet, get all the northeast liberals -— Giuliani, Brown and Romney -— to join you in the liberal Democrat party. That would make more sense.

Having voted ‘Yes’ on ObamaCare, don’t even think about it.

No RINOs! Better to have a Dem in the seat than a RINO undermining our arguments and betraying us at the worst possible times.

No Joe. We are trying to get rid of your “moderate” sorts currently. We don’t want, or need your type of “moderate” redefining “Conservatism” thank you.

What do I mean!? People think of “Republicanism” as “Conservatism” thanks to the Socialist-Democrats, and the Leftist Media whom have been instrumental in creating the illusion.

“Republican” today is far from an appropriate association of “Conservatism”, but as far apart as the two are, the seemingly simple task of removing the Leftist RINO’s from the party would bring the two much closer to alignment.

It’s also possible that Joe Lieberman will be thrown out of the Senate.

Hey, Joe—before you could run as a “moderate” Republican, you would have to move from the leftwing to the middle. It appears to me, based upon your record, that would be a pretty big move for you to make. I’m not looking for it to happen. Stay an Independent or, better yet, join Juan McLame at an old folks game and enjoy some shuffleboard.

Joe will caucus with the GOP in Jan 2011.

No Republican senators voted for the Obama DeathCare Joe. You are no moderate Republican and should continue to run as an Independent.
