Senator Joe Lieberman told Eyewitness News 3 that it is possible that he could run as a good old-fashioned New England Republican in 2012. Lieberman says he was kicked out of the Democratic party in the 2006 primary after his stance on the Iraq War.
For the record, Joe Lieberman was right on Iraq. The surge was a huge success and today Iraq is continuing to take steps on its path towards democracy
no thanks to the cut-and-run democrats and the state-run media who did everything they could to impede success in this front against Al-Qaeda and radical Islam.

No “moderate” anything will get my vote.
Joe has already shown that he will change into anything that will get him the votes and then stand with the Dems. I don’t trust him.
Nothing moderate about that guy’s domestic record. Pure leftist progressive. Give us you vote if you want but keep that I by your name Joe.
Another guy who is sticking his finger up in the air and seeing which way the wind is blowing.
But if he caucuses with the GOP, that is okay.
I’ve known several good old-fashioned New England Republicans and sorry Mr Lieberman, you aren’t one.
NO JOE! NO JUAN!
Joe seems to be a nice fellow, but his political positions are left of center.
Forget it, Joe. You’re a dyed-in-the-wool leftist who hangs with the hoarse whisperer and has a voting record that makes honest Americans want to puke!
Oh, there must be a gap in news, and too much attention paid to Scott Brown- time for Joe coy boy Lieberman to grab a headline
Go away Joe. After the healthcare teaser stories where you played the white knight for a couple of days....and then caved....why would ANYONE believe ANYTHING about you, except you are a self serving opportunist instead of a democrat party serving opportunist
There would have to be a come to Jesus meeting with ole’ Joe first and I’m not disparaging his Jewish religion here either. Perhaps I should say that there should be a come to Jehova meeting first. Mike Castle and Scott Brown are good ole New England Republicans i.e. fiscally conservative. Ole’ Joe would have to look at these type of things before putting an R after his name. Like it when he agrees with our side, but other than that, no Republican money should go to his coffers until this is cleared up...
...and another thing. I see where Newtie is on the cover of NewsMax. He’s another establishment Republicrat for whom I have no regard. He’s a sycophant for the gorebal warming crowd!
Let Joe stay as an independent and let him caucus with the Dems. I don’t mind his foreign policy, but his domestic voting record clearly shows he wants more government and less freedom.
He must figure the GOP needs a minimum number of RINO Senators to stab ‘em in the back during big votes, now that the Spectre is out.
He is just attempting to blackmail his Dem friends into supporting him by putting the fear of him being the 11th Senator to give control of the Senate back to the GOP.
Typical insider, backroom dealing crook of a politician.
No thanks Joe.
You'll just suck up a lot of Republican campaign money that can be used better elsewhere, i.e., RIAO (Republicans in Action Only).
Stay outta da party!
Leni
Screw him.
He plays Republicans like a fiddle and then crawls back to vote democrat even though they are contemptuous of him. Bah, humbug. He is pathetic. Joe’s game is over.
