As the Massachusetts blame game unfolds, the president’s unpopular health bill leads the list. But the substantive provisions of the bill were just part of the problem. Perhaps more important, voters were appalled by how the deal unfolded.

Consider the pre-election giveaway to the labor unions. Negotiators agreed to exempt union contracts until 2018 from the tax on so-called Cadillac health-insurance plans. That backroom bargain not only outraged the voters, it also violated the Fifth Amendment to the Constitution, requiring the federal government to extend equal protection of the laws to all U.S. persons. Of course, not all voters understood the constitutional nuances, but they sensed that something was very wrong; and they reacted.

I have been disturbed by the socialists for years, ever since I learned many members of Congress 'openly' joined the DSA (Democratic Socialists of America). Several years ago, the names were published on the DSA site. (since removed of course) Please post any info you have, many of you have been on this issue for many years, & if we can store it all on one thread, we have our FreeRepublic Warehouse on the enemies of the state. How DO we combat this, when it's coming at us from every angle? When the people have been asleep for decades. Please post anything you have found or accumulated. The short answer is yes. I have been trying since before the primaries to tell people what was coming. No one listened. They said I was crazy.
McCain was handpicked as was obama. This started and had been in the planning for years and years. All the dominos were in place. All that was left was to set them in motion.

Bush did that. He knocked over the first domino and they have been falling ever since. Now they are falling faster and faster and people have no clue how bad this really is, how much money was really stolen, or how much power they still seek to amass unto themselves.

Every step they took began to take a clear shape with the Clinton administration but the structure had been put into place long before Clinton was ever elected.

bill married hillary for the same reason bo married michelle. Chicago. Alinsky. MONEY and the biggest wholesale robbery and betrayal of the US ever set in motion.

Even during Reagan, there was no break in this march. The same people who saved the PLO to continue the destruction of Israel are the same people who are still in control to this day. It really had nothing to do with Israel OR Jews. They needed islamists and terrorists. PLO was a start. They created and facillitated al Qaeda for their own purposes. Israel is the excuse, not the reason.

Why would anyone think such a thing when on the face of it, it is, (by far,) the most narcissistic worship of the self, NOT G-d. It is a profane insult to creation itself.
However, there certainly ARE those insane and evil meglomaniacs who have tried to place themselves in the roles of gods and the results have been as far from godly as the very thought itself.
All of last week curiousity abounded as George Soros, one of the most vile men in world, a virulent anti-war, (anti-America,) activist and financier of the World Workers Party, mentor of Bowel Movement dot org., bought himself a full 2% interest in Halliburton stock. It seems to me to be the tip of the iceberg in a major insider trading scheme.

Soros is an avowed America hater, and Halliburton has been perceived as one of the greatest beneficiaries of the Iraq war. That is not hardly an unfounded perception. So WHY would Soros, the hater, suddenly decide he loves Halliburton after all?
Do the name, Dubai, ring a bell?
Before the announcement that Halliburton was shipping its Corporate HQ out to Islamoworld, its stock was falling like autumn leaves. Soros paid a very cheap price for his stocks and I can’t help but wonder who else was in on this deal.
There are far more names than Soros’ attached to this megacorp AND many specifically on Dubai’s payroll. As much as I wish it wasn’t so, too many people inside and outside our own government, in the big boardrooms and luxury suites breathing rarefied air, have opened a very large vein and the blood is gushing.
BIG names. Huge names are connected with both Halliburton and Dubai. From both present and former high ranking government officials down to the lower blobbosphere of Michael Moore.
I don’t mean those who have pension monies and shares for their benefit, short or long.
I’m talking here about SOME power brokers who bleed the system and the world without conscience.
If anyone looks back at the Dubai Ports deal, you might ask yourself why Chuck, the Shmuck, Schumer would take the political lead in *outing* the Dubai Ports deal to jumpstart Hillary Clinton’s ‘08 run, make her “look” patriotic, and give her a stick to wield against Bush, when the deal was brokered BY HER husband’s lobbying firm.
Past that are, Madelaine, (never right,) Albright, Henry, (peace without any honor whatsover,) Kissinger, James, (the Fraud,) Baker, Bob, (the War Hero,) Dole, and many others you can easily find if you care.
Yes. You might indeed ask. And you should indeed care.
The answer, my friends, is that the whole mess was manufactured and Dubai always had its aces in place. Shmucky made out like the bandit he always was.
The last word on the sale of Dubai Ports Management in the USA, came on February 16, 2007.

Personally, I find it astounding, albeit, predictable, that since Soros jumped heavy and publicly into Halliburton, many of the really left-wing editorial pages are now slashing and burning the very same Democrats Soros once supported in his crusade to STOP the Iraq war for trying to do exactly what he paid them to do.
Take the blinders off, y’all. Islam doesn’t need to be at “war” with us. Our “leaders” have already sold us to them.
And stop being clueless over the upcoming presidential election. It isn’t who WE want that’s important to anyone but us. We have to pick from those already chosen for us. And who chose them? The New York/New Jersey Mafia, Chicago Mafia, and very soon now, the Bubba Mafia by replacing their effeminate, lopsided candidate, John Edwards, with a “real” conservative. Believe it.

Schumer raises prospect of IndyMac Bank failure

The U.S. Senator who leads the Senate subcommittee that oversees the Federal Reserve and economic policy has written letters to federal bank regulators questioning the condition of IndyMac Bancorp Inc. of Pasadena, news services reported Friday.

Sen. Charles Schumer, a Democrat from New York, sent the letters to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., the Office of Thrift Supervision, the Federal Housing Finance Board and the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco. The letters reportedly said Schumer is concerned IndyMac “may have serious problems with its current loan holdings, and could face a failure if prescriptive measures are not taken quickly.”
