As the Massachusetts blame game unfolds, the president’s unpopular health bill leads the list. But the substantive provisions of the bill were just part of the problem. Perhaps more important, voters were appalled by how the deal unfolded.

Consider the pre-election giveaway to the labor unions. Negotiators agreed to exempt union contracts until 2018 from the tax on so-called Cadillac health-insurance plans. That backroom bargain not only outraged the voters, it also violated the Fifth Amendment to the Constitution, requiring the federal government to extend equal protection of the laws to all U.S. persons. Of course, not all voters understood the constitutional nuances, but they sensed that something was very wrong; and they reacted.

I have been disturbed by the socialists for years, ever since I learned many members of Congress 'openly' joined the DSA (Democratic Socialists of America). Several years ago, the names were published on the DSA site. (since removed of course) Please post any info you have, many of you have been on this issue for many years, & if we can store it all on one thread, we have our FreeRepublic Warehouse on the enemies of the state. How DO we combat this, when it's coming at us from every angle? When the people have been asleep for decades. Please post anything you have found or accumulated. Also choose a dictator these people follow, of particular interest,those in D.C. who have been quoted with their adulation of one.

I have to admit that Weiner can be exiting too though. He’s just such a putz.

I hear you/LOL; and cannot disagree. . .

And for as much as I admire and appreciate Glenn Beck; he makes me furious as well; because and whenever; he refuses to distinguish from the worst between Dems and Repubs. (Personally see NO comparison of equals here and no equal playing field.) Of course, being a Libertarian; no doubt, easy for Glenn to do. . .

That said - and it carries some negative points - Glenn is as good as gold.

Her husband, Robert Creamer, emerged from federal prison in November 2006 after serving five months for financial crimes. He pleaded guilty to ripping off financial institutions while running a non-profit group. Before he was convicted but under indictment, Creamer was hired by the Soros-funded Open Society Policy Center to sabotage John Bolton's nomination as Ambassador to the U.N.

Pres Bush, and now Pres Obama, have been secretly working to integrate the US and Mexico into a common political and economic unit. “It is unfortunate that Mexico got off to such a bad start,” said Glenn Spencer of the American Patrol Report,” but it is wrong to sacrifice the United States of America to correct problems south of the border.”

Spencer said Mexicans are being besieged by drug volence, murdered and beheaded, which is nothing new for them, but Americans are being betrayed by a government that refuses to protect them.

Under Comprehensive Immigration Reform (4th District Cong Luis Gutierrez' bill w/ 92 sponsors).........to prove they have jobs and were in the country before Congress passed amnesty, illegals are allowed to use stolen ID's, fake green cards, and fraudulent SS numbers without fear of prosecution. Gutierrez's bill will make it much easier for more illegal aliens to break in.

Mexico facilitates the profitable staging area for global illegals to cross the border. Contrary to Obama’s claim that CIR will increase border security, it does just the opposite.........

CREATING DEM VOTING BLOCS On top of the millions of illegals in the US, 1.5 million legal foreign workers come in each year. But this number isn’t high enough for Dem Cong Gutierrez and his co-sponsors. Their Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill includes a provision called “recapture” that will add up all the supposedly “unused” work visas since 1992 and issue them immediately. This is a complete fraud, as all unused work visas are rolled over to the family reunification category the next year. According to the State Department, this will mean 550,000 new foreign workers.
