Bill Pascrell fed up with 'arrogant' Democrats
Politico ^ | 1/25/10 | JAKE SHERMAN

“We are arrogant when we say, ‘Well, as soon as the public understands what we’re doing, they’ll like it,’” he told a clutch of reporters. “That is not only arrogant, it’s BS.”

Rank-and-file Democrats are “tired of hearing about and not knowing about” the deals that leadership cut with industries for their support of this legislation, Pascrell said, and in expressing that, Pelosi became Pascrell’s prime target.

“We’re not going to accept that any longer,” he said. “In fact, if you go back to those agreements, they should’ve been much more robust; talk about robust — those agreements should’ve been more robust.”

...with Titanic's passengers frantically trying to find a vacant lifeboats, panic ensued and shots rang out; "Hurry!", said Hartley, "It's starting to fall apart.".

A Massachusettes iceberg has ripped a big hole in the democrat party and she's takin' on water, fast.

Her passengers are frantically trying to find a sliver of wood - or even a bribe - to cling to in the icy waters of reality...either that, or they may never be heard from again.

Alas, every "King of the World" must eventually step down from his throne. Here's the King's throne with offers of free keepsakes of his reign:

Note that he’s complaining about the backroom deals as being too easy, not sacrificing too much.

Here he is.

Bill’s largest donors are going bankrupt left and right. Pascrell promised the construction trades guys steady work from the stimulus package and most of the projects have been tied up on environmental impact studies. Pascrell’s lawyer buddies are not hiring new law school grads for the first time in their decades long careers. Pascrell’s media supporters are basically all bankrupt and have eliminated the political beat reporters to save money, meaning the NJ Dems have only uninterested greenhorns to push their message.

On top of that the unions in NJ have large numbers of card carrying members falling off the 18 month support system and the union leaders are playing it straight since Christie and Sweeney are on good terms, leaving Federal office Dems without the support on the ground.

And now the NJ gov employee job cuts are rolling in daily, for many of these people it’s the first time they’ve contemplated unemployment since the day they landed their secure government bennies jobs.

So few jobs in Pacrell’s district the illegal aliens are leaving in droves.

Massive local and state tax and fee increases, yet the senior citizens and disabled get no COLA increase this year, next year, and talk of no increase in 2012 either, plus you got Obama trying to take aware their medical benefits.

The anti-banker sentiment being carried out by Obama Frank Pelosi etc is going to crush the already fragile situation Pascrell’s upper income leftist constituents are facing as Bloomberg decries the fleecing and then fleeing of banking and finance sector from NYC.

Of the historical Dem constituencies in Pascrell’s district, I don’t see any group that is happy with the political and economic situation.

Pascrell’s district is very similar to the suburbs of Boston, and Pascrell is very well aware of it.

In a front-page POLITICO story Friday, he said he’d like to see White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel “come out from behind his desk” to talk to the common folk more.

That'd be a great campaign strategy for Republicans - just picture Rahm, steak-knife in hand, rattling off the names of Blue Dog Democrats shouting "DEAD! DEAD! DEAD!" as he slams it into the podium over and over.

That’s really a good analysis, wasted on FR. The mainstream of the Dem party has always been in on it because it worked for them. Now it doesn’t, and they don’t know what to do.

I caught Hannity pleading last week for a Dem to come forward.

Why would he ask for that? He routinely has McCain and Romney on his show....they're close enough to call them Democrats. I quit watching him because he supports all of those RINOs.

When is he going to figure out that straddling the fence is hard on the testicles?

He has one of the largest muslim constituencies in the nation (yep, the ones who were jumping for joy as the Twin Towers came crashing down) and he does their bidding.
