Good Lord, has a Liberal Full-Pantload Alert been issued yet? ‘Cause there are going to be some messes when they read this. :)

I am hoping - that 0bama’s criticism of the CFR decision will push the court to respond with stronger language - incorporating the second amendment.

Roe v. Wade will be eventually overturned - and what a wonderful day in America’s history it will be.
I pray that day comes as soon as possible - helpless, innocent children are being murdered in this country every day.

I had the pleasure of meeting CJ Roberts at a Washington Nationals game in the summer of '08 ( I was lucky enough to be invited to a suite that was next to the one he and his wife and kids were in). We spoke for about 8-10 minutes...this guy was the nicest, down-to-Earth person you could ever meet. Typical of so many of the decent people I've met from the mid-west thoughout my life.
We talked baseball, he asked about my kids and family...he was especially interested to hear about my son who's with the NYPD...I spoke a bit about politics (he didn't say anything then)...and I left him with with these words: "An awful lot of people like me are REALLY looking forward to the Heller decision." I then shook his hand and he got back to his suite (the suites share some common open-air areas).

Just like the campaign contribution ruling, if Roe is overturned 0bama will attempt to get a constitutional amendment making abortion a right guaranteed by the constitution.

I would say this man would make a great President, but he is already in a much needed position.

Yeah - good thing he didn’t get to give the job to his secretary or laundry lady or whatever Hariet M was.

The next time somebody tells you there’s no difference between GWB and Hussein, remember the good, young men in black he left behind on the court.
Thank you, W.

I think this is more closely related to the pending 2nd Amendment decision.

The Constitution can be amended.
Any ruling that ignores the original intent (as evidenced by practices and laws that no one considered to be unconstitutional at the dawn of the republic) should be overturned and the court should suggest that it is not an editorial board, and any editing of the Constitution is to be done via the amendment process.
The courts have been all too willing to do the job that is actually the duty of Congress - legislating in order to avoid nonsensical or absurd outcomes. Sometimes that should include amending the Constitution.

Okay, quick question, how do we make abortion illegal and keep from having a substantial increase in entitlement payments?
Whatever is done just make sure there is no more money extorted from me.

Secondly, successfully placing Roberts atop the high court is beginning to look like former President George W. Bushs most important legacy a gift that will keep on giving for conservatives for decades. True. Thank you, President Bush.
