It started out innocently in a conversation with a well-connected Democrat friend who is now-disillusioned Obama voter.
We were discussing the Massachusetts election, and I joked that I didn’t know if the Democrats could stand another three years under Obama. He fired back that he and several of his friends didn’t know if they could stand ONE more year under Obama.
I posited that the only way it could happen that fast is if you could get him out of office on something like an eligibility issue, and that I couldn’t imagine any Democrat would ever become a “birther”!
There was a silence for a few moments and then he confided that “one might surprised at what is being whispered about by disillusioned members at high levels in the party”. He cut the conversation off at that point and we reverted back to small talk.
This all sounded so not credible to me, but you can never underestimate the Democrats’ desire to stay in power. The more I pondered his words, the more intriguing and perhaps terrifying the outcomes became.
Consider this scenario, the Democrats actually let “birther” investigations to go forward, publicly condemning the Republicans for pushing the issues, while quietly not impeding or even facilitating them . Two outcomes can happen. Obama is proven eligible and the Republicans are embarrassed and fall from public grace. Obama retains power and Democrats regain some public confidence.
Should Obama be removed from office, it becomes the ultimate opportunity to play the race card, because the still-“conservative” Supreme Court would have to “conspire” with the "racist" Republicans to force Obama’s departure from office. Democrats could swear Obama’s innocence, a repeat of the Lewinsky defense, in which Bill Clinton came out more powerful politically. The Democrats could raise the race issue with the Republicans until the end of recorded time for removing the first Black President from office.
At the precipice of their political comeback, the Republicans could fall hard! A Democrat "Rope a Dope"?
Admittedly this is a shameless self post, maybe I’m reading more into this than was really there. If you disagree, flame away, pull the post, and tell me to take my meds and go to my room.

Which translates into an even more catastrophic collapse of the DemocRat party. I’m down with that.

Look for the birther story to be made public as soon as old crazy Joe gets sent packing into retirement. That moves her to the #2 slot.
Here’s hoping the SOTU speech turns into a Ceausescu moment.
Maybe a Hillary supporter will sabotage zero’s teleprompter during the state of the union or some other important address. Add a few real questions from the media and we may see a public meltdown. Zero does seem to have have a temper.
If we do get the House back this November, we will be able to do a lot of juicy investigations. EPA, IG Walpin, Czars, Chrysler bondholders, Black Panthers and many others.
The Dems with long knives against 0bama could start by getting a few college transcripts, college papers and applications. Then we will know something is really up.
Instead of impeachment, the more expedient way out is resignation as it was with Nixon. That was a bi-partisan effort too.
Yo Bill and Hillary, soon 0bama will be able to get you a cup coffee.

Otherwise Biden's new veep becomes president should he fall.
It's all in the timing. Biden only needs to last long enough to nominate a veep, and have her approved by congress.
Her? Well duh. Who better qualified than the democrat presidential runner up...
The Dems had successfully spun it as sex between consenting adults, and turned Starr into a vigilante...and by the time the Presidents’ removal came up for a vote the Republicans just wanted it all to go away.
Any body who thinks a Democratically controlled Hose and Senate will let this get anywhere is seriously delusional.
Unless they want to use it to embarrass the Republican party.
As bad as that is, I guess we know now what's worse.

Not really. There are large numbers of black Americans who are well aware of what and who Obama is. They hoped he was not who he is, but they are turning. I’m speaking of Christians, not islamofascist farrakhanites and Rev Wright types. Chicago thug communists do not resonate with middle class of any race, but Obama isn’t really black, you know— and uh, they know too. What would really be nice to know is how much on the Saudis’ payroll he is. His actions are not those of an American but a tool of a foreign power or in extremis, a socialist idealogue which could be the same thing. About which see: the German financed Lenin overthrowing the Czar and subsequent buildup to the dividing up of Europe between Hitler and Stalin. Nice, huh?
I further think that Obama may have had as much dirt on Bill and Hillary as they had on him. Remember, Rahm Emanuel was a Clinton insider, and Chicago politics thrives on desroying the opposition,

I wonder if Bill Ayers, as a ghost biographer, knows the truth about Obama’s birth circumstances. His mother introduced student Barack to their mailman as “Kenyan.” Ayers isn’t too happy with Obama these days either.
I just want to see his SAT scores. (If he didn’t get someone else to take the tests for him.)
People are totally immune to Clinton dirt. Everyone knows they are filthy. It’s just accepted. BO, however, has been put on a pedestal and is quickly making enemies on all sides. He’s not likable like Bill Clinton, contrary to what Bill O’Reilly tries to tell us every night. Clinton’s past was not hidden either. We knew he was a draft dodger and a womanizer. It was out there.

Exactly; therefore, if Obama were proven ineligible, that would negate both Obama's and Biden's election. Pelosi would also be tossed out.
I'm not sure if this means that because the democratic ticket were held ineligible, McCain would become President, or whether that means that the next successor (Byrd) would be. Scary, either way.
I have already predicted on FR that now BarackO’s paper trail is going to be leaked. Folks are no longer afraid of him.
