Hoping for the Jets, not only are they the last non-dome team left, but the Jets winning the SB and the Vikes not would be really funny.
GEAUX SAINTS!
Go Colts, GEAUX SAINTS!!!
Actually if the Jets win, that would be fine with me.
What time does the Cowboy game come on?
If the Jets win Bill Polian will never hear the end of it.
Skol Vikings!
History tells us that usually at least one of the road teams is victorious in this round but both home teams won last year.
Actually I think Polian winds up in the clear if the Jets win today, it shows the Colts really didn’t throw the game, that they could have lost with the starters in. Of course the hang ‘em high crowd never is into reason and logic and stuff.
I was less than a month old the last time the Vikings played in a Super Bowl.
I sure hope the Jests fans are friendlier...maybe if I don my Joe Willy hairpiece...
Yeah but the fact that they had the lead when he pulled the starters and more importantly that a win would have kept the Jets out of the post season is why he'll get killed if they come up short today.
As you know mainepatsfan, just hoping for a new era with the Saints being victorious over the Vikes.
Ends
This
Sunday
As a Super Bowl history buff it’s nice to see a franchise finally break through onto the big stage like Arizona did last year. If the Saints do win today that will leave the Lions as the only NFC franchise to have never made it to the big game.
It was only a 5 point lead, it was a very losable game for the Colts. Really in some ways Polian is damned no matter what, if they beat the Jets it “proves” they could have continued the perfect run, if they lose it “proves” they sacrificed the perfect run for nothing.
So there is a chance? How old were you when the saints were in their last one?
Maybe if the City of Detroit quits picking some loser mayors, it might help the team in some way have a winning season.
