Heavy reading - are they on the TOTUS?
Newly-elected Senator Brown shouldn’t “misread” the voters who wan’t him to work with Democrats for health care reform, Gibbs says. He hopes the Republicans continue to think the public is against health care reform and President Obama’s plan to rebuild the economy. What the heck is in this guy’s coffee?
Gibbs “people want us to focus on getting the economy moving again”
^
People also expect you are too Socialist for that
FNS
Wallace to Gibbs:
Wallace says Umar was interrogated only 50 minutes before being real Miranda rights.
On Fox&Friends this morning, they were saying Umar was interrogated 10 hours before being read Miranda rights.
Someone apparently is not up on the facts.
Letters hand-picked by his handlers. "Ellie Light"
LOL!
Gregory asks Mitch what his plan is for jobs.
Don’t raise taxes, don’t pass cap and tax, kill the hc bill.
Don’t let the Bush cuts expire.
Wallace let Gibbs squirm out of the question of whether Obama was informed before Miranda rights were granted to Abdamulatab.
That whole White House team is still in denial.
One of the messages out of Massachusetts was:
“Hey, Washington! We’re in a war. Act like it.”
JD narrowly lost his seat after coming out against the Bush adminstration on its support for the “Comprehensive Immigration Reform” bill. The party gave him no support and then to top it off, started an FEC ethics probe of which he was not charged. Add to it his seat was becoming similar to B1 Bob’s seat in which the Greek, Loretta Sanchez, (convenient name change) used Acorn and credible voter fraud to throw it her way.
DeMint is a truly intelligent, truly good man.
"Commonsense" is everybody's buzzword. It's a throwaway adjective. I'm waiting for some genius to start touting the application of "constitutional" solutions, and slow/steady dismantling of the federal bureaucracy.
Here, from the left-wing of the Republican party:
Republican Main Street Partnership
The goal of the Republican Main Street Partnership is simple; to find commonsense solutions to problems that people are wrestling with each and every day.
LOL, Miss Didi. A Complaint Free World? I don’t know, but what a silly concept. I was assuming it had to do with a gay rights cause....or maybe something to do with Haiti?
To quote Pres. Bush, “Makes sense to me, doesn’t it?” :-)
What we actually want is to be left alone for the most part. And we are going to have to insist on Constitutional governance until we get just that and nothing more.
I was told that the reason Obama wants terrorists put in criminal courts versus military tribunals is that, as a Muslim, he would have to sign their death warrants in military courts but not in criminal courts. Apparently, as a Muslim, signing a death warrant isn’t allowed. Don’t know for sure, just heresay. Interesting!
