The Easten Bloc Olympic ice dancing teams of the 60's and 70's always loved American cowboy and indian themes, complete with feathered headresses and smoking six-shooters. My dad and I both figured that the Soviet Union wouldn't be around much longer.

Oh, when can we get rid of this PC crap? How would Don Rickles be handled today with all of the senseless/don’t offend/be nice attitude that is so previlent today?

I will stick with my motto “Rude, Crude and Socially Unacceptable but Damn proud of it”. I am an equel opportunity offender and fully reject the PC/feel nice garbage.

Today it seems that everyone is easily offended and the general response is to apoligize. I suggest everyone get used to it, kids are mean and will tease other kids, kids will lose in Field Day and every other sports, winners get medals and losers don’t. I got trophies and medals on some sports and really sucked at others, but did it NOT hurt my image I had of myself.

Really getting tired of this garbage.

This one is dopey on multiple levels. High among them is that there is 60,000 years of recorded history. But most prominent is that this is theater for goodness sake. It is costume. Get a life, chill, back off, start thinking like a normal person.

What on earth are you talking about?

What “nightmare cities”?

There are certainly issues with indigenous people in Australia and there have certainly been some awful acts of discrimination over the years. But “nightmare cities?” Nothing close to that.

There are some communities in isolated areas that lack the resources and services of a first world country, but nobody is forced to live there. Quite the opposite - we wish these people would come and live somewhere where they can fully enjoy normal services, but we have no right to force them to move.

I worked for a guy several years ago who, after he got a few drinks under his belt turned into Don Rickles. More than once I thought he was going to get us all killed, but as it turned out, the person on the receiving end of his insults usually wound up buying us a round.
