Obama, With Defiant Tone, Vows to Push Agenda

ELYRIA, Ohio President Obama, striking a no-retreat, no-surrender posture in the wake of his partys humiliating defeat in the Massachusetts Senate race this week, vowed Friday to press on with his expansive domestic agenda including a health care overhaul and tough new restrictions on banks even if it meant he had to take my lumps from political critics.
Mr. Obama came to this Cleveland suburb for the second stop on his White House to Main Street Tour to spread the word that his administration is about jobs, jobs, jobs. With his approval rating down to about 50 percent, a bruising season of midterm elections ahead and Democrats reeling from the resounding note of disapproval in Massachusetts, the ordinarily cool and cerebral Mr. Obama sounded unusually defiant, even fiery, at a town hall-style question and answer session at Lorain County Community College here.
The president used the word fight, or some version of it, more than 20 times.
Mr. Obama vowed to never stop fighting for policies that will help restore home values. He promised that he was not going to stop fighting to give our kids the best education possible. He pledged he would not stop fighting to give every American a fair shake, to continue fighting for a new Consumer Protection Agency and for openness in government. And of course, Mr. Obama pledged to fight for jobs.

Dear Mister Obama. We love this country, it's history, it's God given wonders, and our inspired forefathers much to much to allow you to succeed with your marxist agenda.
We will die fighting, if we have to. And that ain't no bullsh*t.

I'd say let him go ahead. Its already cost his party Virginia, New Jersey and now Massachusetts. Pressing ahead with his Far Left policies will probably cost the Democrats Congress and control of most of the country's statehouses. That will be significant for reapportionment next year.

I hate to be brutally blunt, but I doubt barry obama ever won a fight in his life that EEO didn't hold the victim while obozo punched.
He reminds me in the enept Inspector Clousea in "Pink Panther", wielding deadly karate chops in thin air.
I don't think - but I may be wrong based on the last election - but I don't think that the office of President is an EEO job...it's an elected position, with voting from ALL Americas, all colors, all creeds and all religions. Based on that, I shouldn't think the Congress should worry about lawsuits if they should decide to impeach him before he takes their party down the route of the "pet rock". (hint, hint).
So, Mr. fluster-bluster can keep on with his teletantrums until his prompter blows a fuse, but he is the lamest of lame ducks that ever quacked.
We should mimic "carbon credits" and sell "voting credits", and when we find a imposter in the Oval Office, we just cash in our "voting credits" and he is removed, post haste. His "stock" falls and so does he. Oh well, I can dream, can't I...after all, we just had MLK's birthday, and HE had a dream...(although he never met obama).
We've given the kenyan all the rope he needs, now we're just waiting for him to pull his own "trap door" and get it over with...he can have one, last ride on Air Force One, back to Chicago and his den of thieves.

the invisible hand: “this is good news. really good news.”
Agreed! If Obama moved to the center, he could probably still accomplish most of what the leftists want. Juan McPain, Lindsay Grahamnesty, Snowejob, and other RINOs can’t wait to reach across the aisle.
But, by fighting hard, he’ll continue to alienate voters and push the country further right. Obama is already well on his way to being the worst president in recent history, even more so than Carter.
