President Obama and the Democrats are like scrambled eggs right now after the results of the Senate race in Massachusetts. All across the liberal universe, television, radio, blogs, print, you name it the message is all garbled in transmission. The election loss is blamed on everything from George Bush to Martha Coakley being a pathetic candidate and somewhere out there, (and I have not found it yet but I know it's there), Global Warming! Folks this is reality TV at its best. For drama and comedy you can't beat it. It was a real hoot watching Chris Mathews on "Hardball" delve into the aspect that Massachusetts just doesn't elect women candidates no matter what party affiliation they are. Wednesday, Nancy Pelosi was still moving on with Health Care, Thursday...well maybe not. The nuke option is on the table...Obama says no, wait until Scott Brown is seated. Woody, over at "Sanity Sentinel", nailed it when he said from now on President Obama will speak a little slower to us... so we will have time to understand what he's trying to sell. Remember, most Americans are not as smart as liberals. Obama admits he lost sight of that...just assumed we would understand. Well, after one year in office it's pretty clear that Obama is the one who doesn't understand. Robert, at "Wise Conservatism" posted an article about the Obama "magic" wearing off on America and indeed it has. Realization that this man has serious challenges facing him that personality and magic alone cannot help. Unemployment and the economy have a way of wrecking ideology and can make the going rough for a "not ready for prime time player" of either party.
Democrats can spin it any way they want and it's to be expected but they see what a whipping their candidate took in the bluest of blue states. Political pundits are now saying Obama will take a lesson from Bill Clinton's playbook and turn his fortunes around in this second year. Well here's a news flash: Obama ain't no Clinton, not even close. His Chicago style politics won't fool anyone and the more Obama speaks the more hollow his words sound. As much as I disliked Clinton, Ole Slick Willy had a certain devious charm about him that hit a chord with the population and allowed him to stay popular. Not so with Obama. The chords he's hitting now are playing one and done!

Random apostrophe disease.
“Unemployment and the economy have a way of wrecking ideology...”
More correctly, ideology has a way of wrecking employment and the economy. But I get the point.
YOUR random apostrophe disease. :)
Its true that the apostrophe does have it’s way with us.
1) Taxacheusetts changes it's law so a governor can't appoint a senator;
2)After striving mightily to pass a "Health Care" bill, the "Swimmer" kicks the bucket;
3) A Republican wins the special election and the "Health Care" bill kicks the bucket.
Like I said, you can't make this stuff up.
LO’L!!!

re: Random apostrophe disease
By itself it’s can usually survivable. But coupled it with the “Extra ‘e’” variant, it’s all over.
One of my pet peeves is RAD - random apostrophe disease - and it’s fostered by MS Word spellcheck, which inserts apostrophes everywhere.
My Parris Island Drill Instructors would tell us that constantly for the first week. Then we wised up; but they found other insults.
It can really can take the edge off an otherwise impressive Powerpoint presentation.
Shouldn't it be y'all's?
Many Americans who voted for Obama and McCain held regardless of their reasons for voting for either one of them had to hold their noses and vote.
Many independents and even Republicans didn’t like McCain and wanted a change from what the left had been successful in villifying, the Bush administration.
What both the left and the right didn’t get and probably still doesn’t get, is that voters want exactly what Republicans use to passionately be able to communicate to the public but over time had been pushed by MSM and liberals into thinking they had to move to the left in order to be successful. The left thought that the American public had bought into their liberal ideologue and wanted all of the garbage that they had been so successful in hiding from the public for years.
In the apostrophe the same as a single quote? If not, can the apostrophe sue to obtain the same status?
