The Weekly Standard has come out and bashed J Street and its list of early 2010 endorsements. Basically it boils down to this: if J Street is endorsing them, we GOPers should not:

I think a better list would be which Republican to not support. How on Earth is going to support the Democrats? If there is a list of RINOs not to support now that would be fantastic.

I think the idea is to ensure that each Dem on the list has a viable Republican opponent, and for people to support that opponent.

It would be a total waste of time, money, ink and bandwidth to expend any effort opposing him. He’s basically “congressman for life” — in the style of an African tribal potentate.
Except for Keith Ellison, Bawney Frank, and Chuck Rangle of course.

Charles Boustany is the only Republican on the list. To my understanding, he’s a very good rep. He has Lebanese (IIRC) ancestry, which may be his link to the group. I would be interested in hearing why he’s a supporter, and whether he’s heard the full story of the unsavory stands and connections of this group.
