I agree, he knew she could not have said no and thought of this as a favor being returned
the sooner we get rid of that McCain family the better not forgetting how now his two women are on the pro homo pervert agenda
Do you support McCains stances, positions, leadership in the Republican party. Please explain.
Hey, there's not a politician around that I support 100%... in case you don't know... LOL...
Let's start with Bush, who I voted for twice... I didn't support him on Immigration and on Israel and on his idea about Islam being a religion of peace, much less that we are not at war with Islam, and/or the fact that he said that we worshipped the same god as the Muslims... (what a dolt in making that statement, huh?! LOL...).
So, what's new. I don't support Immigration with John McCain either.
And talk about being "in cahoots" with President Bush and Vice President Cheney, they all, including John McCain, voted/supported the bailout -- with both Bush and Cheney saying that they had to abandon their free market principles in order to save it... LOL... (no..., they really did say that and I've got an article I posted on that myself...).
Again, what's new... there?! I supported Bush two times and if he was running again right now, I'd be voting for Bush again... LOL...
So, there's not too much difference there with my disagreement with Bush, with Cheney and with McCain...
BUT, I've got to say I've got a whole lot less disagreement with Sarah Palin -- than I do with all those others I just mentioned and whom I voted for them all...
Seems like trolls are infiltrating FR to generate flame wars and set conservatives against one another.
“So, there’s not too much difference there with my disagreement with Bush, with Cheney and with McCain...”
Right, the RINO infestation in the Republican party is DEEP and the GOP needs a deep cleaning...I like the quote from Mark Levin - you’re not going to get rid of all RINOs right away - but the right RINOs right away (rough paraphrase.)
I realize that you’re not going to have a 100% purely conservative party. But doing what we can, including supporting legit conservatives in the primaries, and/or at least not pitching their RINO counterparts (Sarah) would help us to deliver a message.
I think we need to be willing/disciplined to do that.
It’s too bad, imho, what’s transpiring in AZ that may sink Hayworth before he can even start.
McCain is a supporter. He picked her - remember?
Good for Sarah...she has common sense. I get so sick of some of the old fart idiots on here....everyone’s a rino, I lked him/her...now they are traitors. Bunch of stupid old angry people with too much time on their hands and the intelligence of a banana slug.

If you (or anyone else...) wants to pull in the numbers of supporters and voters like Reagan did, you won't find with that crowd that you had anywhere near a 100% purely conservative party, per the voters who put Reagan in office.
He managed to get the voters who weren't anywhere near 100% pure on conservative issues and did a fine job of it.
The way it's going with some conservative FReepers that I've seen posting on candidates with conservative values (like towards Sarah Palin), these same ones would kick Reagan out of the party, too... LOL...
“I still love her very much...but I draw the line here. McCain has NOT magically changed his mind and become more conservative. He is what is WRONG with this country.”
At the very least McLame is what is wrong with the LAME GOP leadership that has so abused its conservative base. And that may just be one of the key reasons *why* we’re all in this bind with bammy and the socialist RATS, because of horribly poor GOP leadership.
Does anyone reasonably think that if the GOP had stuck to their conservative principles and mandate in 1994 and truly ramped back government, rolled out freedom and opportunity, that we would have seen Clinton re-elected or everything along the lines of the 1994 revolution go kaput! in 2006?
This failure of GOP leadership and the THREAT of RAT socialism is directly what led to the success of the Tea Party movmement. Sarah ran with McCain before the Tea Party EXPLOSION. Why would Sarah want to jump in *again* with McCain, and be on the wrong side of that?
> And, I did exactly that, voted for McCain and Palin... > and have no problems with my vote, to this very day. It would be interesting to do a FR poll to see how many of us held our nose voting for McCain, really pulling the lever for Sarah. I’d venture to say 80 percent. Some didn’t show up to vote, either not buying into the Obama hype, or perhaps buying into the MSM hatred of Bush. The trick is to be engaged in the nomination process in 2010 and 2012, so we can offer true Conservatives on the ticket. THAT IS obviously the frustration of Arizona Conservatives. They don’t want to vote for McRINO, and they can’t see why Conservative-champion Sarah is supporting him. BELIEVE ME — Sarah KNOWS she’s bucking the party faithful. She has her reasons as I’ve cited before as she offered on Glenn Beck’s show yesterday: 1) keeping her word to him support him; 2) keeping McRINO as the 41st vote against Obama as he steps on the accelerator this year. Both of Sarah's reasons make sense to me, as I implicitly trust Sarah and her judgment. I don’t like it, but I can see where she’s going, trying to maintain a Republican 41-vote coalition. It's up to Conservatives in Arizona to reject McRINO, but they need to be soliciting Conservative rivals to challenge and beat McRINO regardless. If McRINO wins, I'd have no problem with a third party Conservative run against him, similar to what we saw in NY-23. The strategy of running third party Conservative candidates should be used VERY SPARINGLY. My prediction is that we can expect one or two Conservative-leaning Democrat Senators this spring change to the Republican party. IF THAT HAPPENS, we need to be ready to have true Conservatives challenge those new-found RINO turncoat bastards and send them back home. Many of us weren’t very engaged last time around in the GOP nomination process. This time around, in 2010 and 2012, most Conservatives will be guiding the process. |

Well, that part really doesn't matter because it doesn't show up on any ballot slip... :-)
That part is all subjective. What is not "subjective" but "100% objective" -- in what you just said -- is -- "the actual vote itself".
Many of us werent very engaged last time around in the GOP nomination process. This time around, in 2010 and 2012, most Conservatives will be guiding the process.
And with that, we'll see...
Can’t say I like it, either. But, a certain amount of loyalty and good manners seem to be at work here.
The first Rasmussen poll showed Hayworth up 47-45 but another poll since then (and before this Palin thing) showed McCain up 56% to 36% which is consistent with this second Ras poll. Maybe the first poll was an outlier.
“If you (or anyone else...) wants to pull in the numbers of supporters and voters like Reagan did, you won’t find with that crowd that you had anywhere near a 100% purely conservative party, per the voters who put Reagan in office.”
I get that, especially in the general elections. Listen I worked for the McLame campaign...because I viscerally opposed the socialist tyranny (although many would say my efforts were futile, and perhaps they were right!)
But I’m talking about the primaries Star...this is where we need to deliver our disciplined conservative message...
The Texas race is polarized and a lot of conservatives are backing Perry as better then KBH. They should take a look at Medina.
I’d vote for her if I lived in Texas. One doesn’t have to worry about her splitting the vote and letting KBH win, cause Texas has a primary runoff.
Any initial polls to show how Medina would poll amongst Hispanics?
As crazy as it may sound, some people cast their vote simply
based upon a candidate’s last name ...
Sometimes it's hard to see the forest for the trees.
You might want to consider the messenger of this thread.
That would be rabscuttle, a poster that has continually without fail for at least two years posted hate threads about McCain. Now he has added Sarah Palin and getting the exact response he wants. people here bashing not only McCain but Sarah Palin as well.
rabscuttle and his buddies as far as I know have never posted one thread against "The One". Never........
You might want to rethink turning against Palin and think more about "The One" that led you to suddenly think Palin has turned into a turnip.
As far as I know Sarah Palin has never said she intended running for president, what she does, who she supports, what she says is strictly her business. She is a citizen not a politician running for any office.
If and when she does then will be the time to decide if you want to support her.
Beware the messenger !
I’m not worried about resources. It’s time to give atrophied incumbent losers the boot. John McCain is not entitled to reelection because he’s the incumbent and he’s to the right of Mark Kirk. Most people in the country are to the right of Mark Kirk. A few rats in the IL legislature are to the right of Mark Kirk.
SARAH...not ready for prime time YET
I’d be more concerned about those that employ fallacious logic...
The latest Rasmussen poll has her polling at 12%, it’s not broken down by race.
