Absolutely right. Whatever you think about Mitt Romney, he’s no dope.

KIMBERLEY A. STRASSEL is a competent reporter/opinion writer. Romney did introduce Brown and was thanked by him at the victory celebration. This was the most amazing election in my lifetime. Massachusetts, Kennedy, health care , Republican victory...amazing! It is interesting to get some of the back story on the process.

The more the financial mess in this country continues. The more I start forgiving Mitt his former anti Reagan transgressions. We may need his expertise in another 3 years to salvage this country from insurmountable debt and double digit unemployment.

Please do not run Romney..... I don’t dislike the guy, but absolutely do NOT consider him “presidential material”

From a perch atop his Free and Strong America PAC, Mr. Romney has been raising money, nurturing his team, keeping himself in the national spotlight. With the Massachusetts Senate race, he sensed an unexpected opportunity to step to the front of the GOP presidential ranks. He played it nicely. Aware that many voters have mixed views of his governorship, Mr. Romney stayed in the shadows, leaving other notables to stump with Mr. Brown. Behind the scenes was a different story.

Thanks for those kind words, Scott.
