Aware that many voters have mixed views of his governorship, Mr. Romney stayed in the shadows, leaving other notables to stump with Mr. Brown. He has won one election in his life, and he was terrible at the job, as the most recent Republican Governor that only left office in 2006, he couldn't even campaign for Brown, while people like Governor Weld and Rudy Giuliani could, this is why.

I’d bet you he spent his own money to get this guy in there. Mitt is quite generous when it comes to doing the money lifting.
