I realize that I am sitting in a comfortable home with lights, power, food etc.,
However, many of the pictures from Haiti show hundreds of young healthy men sitting around waiting to be waited on. If they are being fed and sheltered, it is time for them to be organized and ordered to start cleaning up their environment, (however temporary) help in food & water distribution.
The young foreign men and women sent to help Haitians are in just as dire circumstances - heat and long hours of physical labor - theirs should be an example of self-help and intiative.

These are Plague conditions.
And they want to bring some of these people to the United States?
They should be quarantined.

“”It’s miserable here. It’s dirty and it’s boring. There’s nothing to do but walk about,” said Judeline Pierre-Rose, 12, who misses her comfortable home with its couch and TV.”
DO something, you moron! Bury a body, clean up the garbage!
Oh, yea, we need more of this!
If Haiti is like any other island, away from the port cities, there is open land, clean, with food growing wild. Get these people out of the destroyed city instead of importing millions more with the ‘I’m bored attitude’!

From the videos my son brought back from Haiti in 2008, it sounds like business as usual.
(I know that the things are bad there after the earthquake, but Haiti was hell-on-earth before last Tuesday)
