Richard Hanna has officially thrown his hat into the political ring once again, announcing he's running for the 24th Congressional District. He will seek the Republican, Conservative and Independence party endorsements

Who makes Schumer and Gillibrand vulnerable? Chris Lee?
This is my district. I will calling Mr. Hanna’s office and asking how can help. My area (Seneca County) is very Conservative and I should be able to get hundreds to the polls.
Is that still the case? From what I understand, the county voted for Obama in 2008, the two northern towns have Democrat mayors and at least one southern town (Covert) is well on its way to becoming an Ithaca suburb.
I don't know why but I always loved Utica...Old Forge....the Buffalohead....
Oneida County here went McCain so Hanna should do well here.
Seneca Falls is certainly liberal, but I live on the south end. I have a lot of friends who probably don’t bother to vote but I’m sure I can get them out. Gun rights are big here, as everybody hunts. I believe the county barely went for Obama in 2008. Hopefully, we can reverse that.
Richard Hanna is the nephew of the late Ed Hanna.
I don't know but I hope someone decent steps up.
*ping*
When I read a few weeks ago that the NRCC was close to convincing a candidate that almost won in 2008 to try again in 2010, I was sure that it would be Hanna (at the time Barletta had already announced that he was running again). This should be another GOP pickup.
Well that didn’t take long!

DCCC: “Hanna also launched a new campaign website where he shamelessly touts his ties to the CATO Institute, a right wing extremist group...”
I like him better already.
If Arcuri couldn’t beat Hanna by more than 52%-48% in 2008, with Obama winning big, Arcuri will get slaughtered in 2010.
The freshman congressman? He’s not running for the Senate.
I just read there’s a movement to draft Larry Kudlow to run against Scummer.

Scummer is one of the least likley rats to lose. The GOP should first take care of the race against G(j)illibrand.
