I'm with you about not running him for anything else before he's developed some track record in DC, but to correct the experience part of your post...NO, he's vastly more experienced than Obama when he ran for president. He has something like 20 years experience in the National Guard with, I believe, the rank of Lt Col. One must actually run and lead something to achieve that rank, even in the National Guard. Obama hadn't so much as run a lemonade stand prior to being elected to the IL senate, and he won that because his opponent's name was removed from the ballot if memory serves.
