Must have caught his family voting for Brown with pre-marked ballots.
I’ve been trying to follow this on the Lynchburg newspaper website newsadvance.com. They’re giving fairly frequent updates. They say a state police helicopter had to land because the suspect hit it with gunfire.
For those wondering: somewhere in Appomattox, Va.
Thank you. Found an additional link for that info:

Any further updates appreciated Wage.
If this story were from MA, your comment might be at least slightly relevant.
Thank you.
Wasn’t there a gruesome murder near there recently? Boyfriend (or ex) shot the family of the girlfriend. Cannot remember if she was involved or killed.
Drawing on fuzzy memory.
Eight people killed according to newsadvance.com. No further details yet.
Farmville (Longwood University), about 45 minutes or so east.
Ex-military. They’re searching the woods.
Hit the police helicopter and caused it to have to land.
Suspect identified; still at large.
From the NewsAdvance website:
UPDATE 10:40 p.m.: APPOMATTOX State Police said eight people were killed in an Appomattox County shooting Tuesday afternoon that sparked a manhunt involving more than 150 police officers from throughout the region.
A state police spokesman said at a 10:15 p.m. news conference that Christopher Speight, 39, of Appomattox was the suspect in the killings.
Speight was still at large as of 10:15 p.m. and was believed to be in the rural area where the eight were killed. He is considered armed and dangerous.
State Police Sgt. Thomas Molnar said during a 7 p.m. news conference that law enforcement had the suspect cornered in a small wooded area behind a home off Snapps Mill Road between Concord and the Town of Appomattox, north of U.S. 460.
The story also states that the dead include Speight’s wife and son, and another teenage boy.
Prayers for all the dead and suffering innocents and for the safety of those still at risk.
I thought it was relevant since Democrat voters can come from anywhere. Next....?

Eight dead. Suspect still at large.
2 traffic violations (speeding and defective break lights). Other than that, a renewal of his CWP this year. I only checked Appomattox County, could be something elsewhere.
Wonder if he has just been lucky avoiding the system or if he snapped.
Thanks for the update.
Thanks for posting the link.
The guy turned himself in this morning.
