Mr. President, a dead fish still smells like a dead fish

So, now the president is going to get combative. Bring it on, Mr. President.

Rather than be humbled by the race they are about to lose in Massachusetts, the good folks at Politico are reporting that President Obama will give a “combative response” to a likely GOP victory tonight in the Bay State.

“The response will not be to do incremental things and try to salvage a few seats in the fall,” a presidential adviser said. “The best political route also happens to be the boldest rhetorical route, which is to go out and fight and let the chips fall where they may. We can say, ‘At least we fought for these things, and the Republicans said no.’”

Whatever words Obama chooses, however, will have trouble masking the substantive reality: A Massachusetts embarrassment would strongly increase the pressure Obama was already facing to retreat or slow down the “big bang” agenda he laid out a year ago.

Were we expecting something else?

The president who came into Washington exactly 364 days ago promising to offer “hope and change” has done what President Bush could not do in his entire second term: wake up the electorate, on the right, center and yes, in many cases on the left of the hazards of one-party rule and excessive government intervention and takeover.

Just like votes in New Jersey and Virginia before them, the people of Massachusetts are tired of higher taxes, government intervention and the feeling by our leaders that We The People are the problem for all of our woes.

President Obama and his minions in Congress have forgotten what makes this country unique and yes, great and finally they are starting to pay for their errors at the ballot box.

So I say again, bring it on, Mr. President.

If Brown does pull this off Obie will be one step closer to the special jacket that buttons up the back. How much longer before he publicly calls the American people “stupid”?

Sounds like Obama is ready to take the martyr's route, strap it on and blow himself and the Dems to Heaven.

In a clip of Obama speaking at the rally Sunday, I thought he looked like a mad man spewing his lies. It certainly wasn't the cold calm demeanor that helped him win the election. Watching him get “combative” should be interesting.

Liar! They never do that. When the chips fall where they don’t like it, they revert to form and conduct all manner of scum behavior to move those chips.

Obama’s socialism is losing statewide elections in blue states like New Jersey and Massachusetts, and it completely trashed any opportunity his party may have had in purple states like Virginia.

It’s the socialism, stupid.

It’s also the complacent conservatives saying “enough, now we’re gonna fight back”.

It’s the economy. NO JOBS NO JOBS NO JOBS

And yet, he parties, prattles on about nothing, dithers about seriously important things, and is generally proving that being President is way over his pay grade.

We can say, ‘At least we fought for these things, and the Republicans said no.’” This is the winning ticket for Republicans. Just say NO to all what the Democrats want to do.

He and Pelosi and Reid have fought for unprecedented expansion of government, massive increase of our debt, and more and more intrusion into our daily lives. If they had their way, you would be jailed for not purchasing health insurance. It is AMERICANS who are saying no. After all, Dems have the House, the Senate, the executive, and a sizable portion of the judiciary.

Obama HATES Fox News
Mon, 18 Jan 2010 08:51 PM

It’s the summer of 2008 and Barack Obama is beginning to slip in the election polls.

He blames Fox News for his election worries.

He agrees to a secret meeting at New York’s posh Waldorf Astoria hotel with the head of Fox News, Roger Ailes and other top honchos of their parent company News Corp.

The meeting goes into meltdown mode as a finger wagging Obama furiously vents his anger against Fox and their top conservative host Sean Hannity.
Have you heard about this?
