I don’t know if I’d trust intrade. Sounds like script kiddie fodder. My take... anything with public access can be gained. Lots of kids out there that know how to totally obliterate these online polls when the need arises. Surely there are savy adults with political interests in mind that could as well.
My contacts tell me that last night about 6 inches of snow fell in northeastern Massachusetts. Don’t know how much that will affect turnout.
never trust polls
call for SCOT BROWN TONIGHT... AND TOMORROW...... DONT TRUST ANYTHING BUT A VICTORY.. DONT BELIEVE ANYTHING BUT VICTORY...... KEEP IT UP AND WE WILL WIN.....
Aqua225,
Intrade is not about POLLS... its about putting your money where your mouth is... LOL -— Is is a “stock market” of probability and predictions ...
intrade is NOT a poll folks...
It’s now Brown 77 and Coakley 26.
79-22 (Odds, not percentages). It’s like 4:1 in favor of Scott.
Intrade is NOT a poll.
PS - Welcome to FR.
Yeah, but a $10 call is not a lot of dough to bet on a deal that could have billions of dollars in consequences (ie., healthcare). An election campaign or say national political party could easily afford to blow money to pump up positions in one direction or another.
And yes, I know it can be gamed, but it still looks nice.
I didn't think that he/they were biased, but this is making me nervous.
Even if Ras chose not to do (WHY I CAN'T FATHOM) a last Poll, that should not account for their site being down all day.
Something is not kosher here and I can't put my finger on it.
huh?
Ras sure was comfortable using his poll from last week to suggest a small lead for Coakley during his interview with Hannity today. What an idiot. Does he NOT realize that much as changed since his last poll??? Damn his poll didn’t even reflect the debate!
It takes a lot more than $10 to move the numbers on intrade. The total volume for this race is over 14,000 shares trading hands.
exactly ... I think a lot of folks don’t understand intrade.. LOL
Check his FR birth date...
aaahhhhhh that explains a lot I missed that my FRiend..
Watching the Intrade numbers must be causing the a strain on the pucker gauge... :0)
