The Haitian people have a deep and abiding hatred of the Clintons. They returned Aristide to power after he was overthrown by a people’s movement headed up by the military.
The Clintons destroyed the entire economy of Haiti by blockading all trade. This had the effect of reducing the Haitian economy by 90% literally overnight.
The Marxist, Aristide, was returned to power. He terminated the military and created a 5th column personal security force that slaughtered his political opponents.
It took another 5 years for the people to overthrow Aristide again. Now Clinton is once again seeking this tyrant’s return.
Wow. Thank you very much for this history. It’s funny, but I didn’t know any of this but I just got the feeling that there was something terribly wrong in how both Clintons were reacting - or not reacting - to this based on their respective formal positions.
The Clintons have done untold harm to many, many people. This is just one ripple in the tsunami.
