Why is it notable that Susan Etheridge shot the photograph? She works for the NYT's Washington Bureau, after all.

Yeh, I saw that too. Susan could probably use a little depil for that five o'clock shadow.

The author is being a little facetious, but the assumptions are still evident - the libs, being smarter than their conservative opponents, mastered this technology and left the knuckle-dragging troglodytes behind in '08. What the conservatives really need is some sort of web presence, but the poor babies are, with the exception of Sarah on Facebook, hopelessly behind. If only the conservatives had a...well, a website of some sort. Why didn't we think of that?
