Recent polls indicate that Republican US Senate hopeful Scott Brown has stolen a bit of Democratic nominee Martha Coakley's thunder. Now Coakley volunteers are accusing Brown supporters of stealing her campaign signs, too.
About a dozen Coakley lawn signs disappeared in Wellesley and Needham last week, according to police reports.

They weren’t stolen, just embarrassed to be seen in public.
WHAT??? Brown supporters stole 12 Coakley yard signs?
THAT DOES IT; I’M VOTING FOR COAKLEY. Oh....uh...wait a minute....I live in Texas.
NEVER MIND.
I do believe somebody at the Globe needs a merciful tranquilizer dart in the butt or he/she's never going to make it to Wednesday morning either.
Wow the injustice!
During the last election no matter how many times you replaced your McCain/Palin signs, they still disappeared.
An old Dem lie. Have seen it many times.
There must be a shortage of trash can covers. ;-)
OMG call the FBI.

LOL!
Sound like something you would hear from poppy diaper reid.
I doubt they were stolen, more like the people who had them have put them away because they are embarrassed.
ah the globe again trying to lie for their candidate.
I smell the desperation back down here in north east FL
By the end of the week we’ll find out that her own people took down the signs.
Eric Holder will probably have a special investigator appointed. This isn’t something trivial, like the New Black Panthers at the polling place in Philadelphia threatening crackers.
I cannot believe that a Democrat would ever, ever remove a yard sign. They are just incapable of such things. Now, voting multiple times, getting the dead to vote, stuffing ballot boxes, burning military absentee ballots; of course they do this, but they would never steal a yard sign.
In early stage of the campaign, Scott Brown himself said that some yard signs were stolen... by another supporters! “Your house is not as strategically visible as mine!” they said.
I saw more than a few Bush and later McCain-Palin signs disappear from my yard. I fail to see the great uproar. How is this even news? People do this crap all the time.
...using their own playbook against them!
Yep. A couple of neighbors and I couldn’t keep our McCain signs up. They would always disappear after a couple of days. Theft was rampant in Silicon Valley.
