Cass Sunstein believes in the government's role of maintaining freedom of choice while also steering people's decisions in directions that will make their lives go better. Fancy name, "choice architect."
Classic economics says that the "economic man" makes choices based upon what's good for him and that's even better for the whole. (Assuming our social contract is honored / enforced.)
Nowadays all too often the choices confuse today's poor dumb economic man and he makes too many bad choices, like spending too much time at Free Republic or with Rush.
That's where our superior citizens enter to save us dummies and to save our democracy.
Our superior ones are in charge of "choice architecture." We will have available to choose from only that which is good. Our superior ones care greatly for us and will even nudge us to make the right choice. Thus, no need for force.
Sunstein's recent book is called Nudge.
It's still our choice! but it's with our superiors' help: libertarian paternalism.

"He also proposes that the Government make secret payments to so-called "independent" credible voices to bolster the Government's messaging (on the ground that those who don't believe government sources will be more inclined to listen to those who appear independent while secretly acting on behalf of the Government)."
Go ahead Sunstein -
This will get you buried in the dungeons and blamed by everyone
Cass Sunstein has always been an egotistical dimwit with his cute delusions and ideas

” I’d love to know the “conditions” under which the government-enforced banning of conspiracy theories or the imposition of taxes on those who advocate them will “have a place.” That would require, at a bare minumum, a repeal of the First Amendment. Anyone who believes this should, for that reason alone, be barred from any meaningful government position.”
Time to “nudge” is NOW. Massachusetts, win or lose, has shown that we the people are FED UP with crazy rats spending our money to put us in cages.
ENOUGH.

“We literally have the fight of our lives on our hands.”
This is true.
It will become increasingly clear to the average American as time goes on.
Look at how far we’ve come in one year.
Just wait until they get a clear view of what is behind the curtain.
It’s going to get very...let’s just say, profound.
To: Boucheau
Just wait until they get a clear view of what is behind the curtain. We have absolutely no idea what is going on behind the scenes, what the czars are doing or anything like that.
Barack predicted that he had only a few months before the polls would tank as they are. What plan does he have to mitigate the peoples' power even further?

It figures the idiot Obama would think this jackass Sunstein is suitable for the Supreme Court. The revolution won't come soon enough if this lowlife gets anywhere near the court.

How does that communist phrase go:
“The force of persuasion, or the persuasion of force...”
Something like that.
History tells us that this is the next step.
Outright force/coercion, a false flag, some big event...
We shall see.
