Thousands turn out for Brown in Worcester
www.bostonherald.com ^ | Sunday, January 17, 2010 | Hillary Chabot

An animated crowd of more than 3,000 supporters are rallying for GOP Senate hopeful Scott Brown in Worcester this afternoon, in a last-minute get-out-the vote push for the suddenly popular state senator.

“This race is close, but it’s not over,” Brown said at a campaign stop earlier today. “Every vote will count in this election.”

While President Obama stumps for Attorney General Martha Coakley in Boston, Brown is taking the stage at Mechanics Hall with Red Sox [team stats] ace pitcher Curt Schilling [stats], Boston College legend and NFL star Doug Flutie, “Cheers” star John Ratzenberger, as well as his daughter, Ayla Brown.

Why do the Libs always whine about their safety when their thugs are always the ones who stir it up?

•Live in or near MA? Volunteers still needed at many regional offices. If you can help, please email Laura@brownforussenate.com and she will tell you how.

•If you live in Massachusetts, become an election judge. In Boston they pay $135-$185 and they NEED Republican monitors.

Needed; military and retired law enforcement VFW and police organizations etc to monitor polls- prevent the voter fraud they’re plotting right now. Video tape everything; document everything; prosecute the perpetrators. http://www.cityofboston.gov/news/default.aspx?id=3599

I was going to post on that snippet, too. They want that in print for the MSNBC talking heads to use against the evil, mean, Republicans.

Wonder what she thinks of those Black Panthers? Betcha they try and say they are intimidated at voting polls by Brown supporters.

Browns daughter looked as proud as she could be of her father! :)

I saw the Brown speech on the Internet, and read a report of obama’s speech.

Brown gave a rousing speech promising to be the people’s Senator (not the special interests), to oppose obama care and ask to “start over” on health care reform, and to lower taxes.

obama just repeated the tired lie from the Coakley ads that Brown is a “lockstep Republican”.

There were apparently twice as many people at the Brown rally than at the obama rally.

But it is NOT over until Tuesday!! We must keep fighting!!!!

(((Coming off stinging election losses in Virginia and New Jersey — not to mention Copenhagen, where he failed to win the 2016 Olympics for his hometown of Chicago)))

Here’s hoping by his appearance & horrendous speech for Coakley, or actually “I” was dominant, that his failure follows him out of MASS!

Good for The Herald to report a close to accurate attendance at yesterday's rally.

I was inside Mechanic's Hall for it, and it was a jolt of political buzz I've never felt before.

Walking up the stairs, two women asked me if I've ever attended a political rally, with my reply of "no, but being a tea bagging astro turfer it was about time that I did." They told me it was their first time at a rally, too.

The Demonrats haven't a clue that they've awakened a sleeping giant even here at ground zero of 'liberaldumb', Massachusetts. They are all going to wake up with very sore bottoms Wednesday morning after the spanking they get Tuesday.

It's time to clean house, and no better place to start that than here in Massachusetts when January 19, 2010 will be the second shot heard 'round the world via the ballot box rather than the Charleville.

I REALLY hope that he can manage to beat her by 5 or more points. Then, it would be a political impossibility for the Dems not to seat him immediately. She could file election challenges until the cows came home, but with a margin of victory of something north of 5 points, there's NO way she can litigate her way to victory.

Of course, that does presuppose that the national media would pressure the Dems - that could be a big "if".

Wasn't it PILL-osi and her ilk that told us the RAT party WON in that special election conducted multiple places in Nov 2009? I get so easily confused listening to these dumbells.

There’s the RAT media, and then there’s other national media. I think the other national media will pressure the RATS to treat the results fairly.

To me, Scott can’t win by enough! I agree with you though, more than 5% would be awesome, and would be pretty near impossible to steal.

Litigation OTOH, I have no qualms that the Rats would TRY to tie the election up indefinitely in court(s).

Hopefully Scott wins this in a landslide and makes any legal challenge look as stupid as Coakley herself is.

Do you remember that picture of PILL-osi where she said those words? One of her eyeballs was looking up and the other eyeball was looking down...and nary a tear to be seen due to the accidental removal of her tear ducts during her last face hoisting. She is definitely a nutter.
