Except for the part where Obama wants you to call a WH number to give to the Red Cross. I think he’s earned the criticism. He’s shown more concern for Haiti than he has for the United States. I think that angers people and hence the criticism. People are out of work, or about to be. He’s killing the country as we know it. So, ‘small and petty’? I think it’s blowback.

Whereas with Pres. Bush, they just snarked at him no matter what he did. He could have pulled an entire family from a burning house and they’d have accused him of starting the fire.

(thread above) “Clinton praises and knocks Bush on same day ... “

2010: New Orleans, the economy, Iraq, the border, your
sister’s crabs, etc.: per `rats, still all “Bush’s Fault.”

They should take the `Kick Me!’ sign off his a$$ now that
his only contribution to politics is praising democrats.

"I think he’s earned the criticism."

Of course you do. The left felt that Bush earned it as well.

"He’s shown more concern for Haiti than he has for the United States. I think that angers people and hence the criticism."

Much of the criticism has been that relief was not provided to Haiti quickly enough.

"Whereas with Pres. Bush, they just snarked at him no matter what he did."

Apparently you don't read many of the daily Obama-bashing threads on FR, including the critical wardrobe reviews.

"People are out of work, or about to be. He’s killing the country as we know it. So, ‘small and petty’? I think it’s blowback."

While all of that may be true ... what does it have to do with relief to Haiti?

Bush is such a gentleman, bless his soul

Now, Sarah Palin would have given obama a “Bless his soul” compliment and we would have all KNOWN what she meant

All Bush accomplished today was help to legitimize a man whose deepest desire is to destroy the United States.

Sorry, I did miss your humor.

Obama now knows he can continue to trash a former president and Bush will run to his aid. Go figure.

George W Bush congratulated Obama for his "swift and timely response to the disaster"

And no one can avoid looking at this quote as, "George W Bush congratulated Obama for his "swift and timely" response to the disaster."

as for all the Bush Bashing here today, there will come a day when every body will be wishing we had GWB back..during the Bush years, our stocks and 401 grew at great bounds, and then the end of 2008 and the Fall of Government under democrat control and all monies started to go South..... YEP WE MISS Bush, We were kept safe under his Administration, and here in Somerset County, Pennsylvania where flight #93 went down on 9/11/01...we still REMEMBER..

G.W. ought to just keep his mouth shut....do what he's instructed to do by clintoon and obammer....then fade back into the woodwork from whence he came.

He's done all the damage to the repubs that they can handle.

When the Clinton-Bush Haiti Relief Fund fails it will be Bush’s fault.

I think W’s gracious and classy way of handling this and agreeing to help with the fund raising made obama look really small, petty and insignificant on the same stage. I thought he rose above clinton and obama, big time. Just my opinion.

“I think Elder Bush still does his sky diving, doesn’t he.”

He celebrated his 75th and his 85th birthdays by skydiving. So he did it twice...both tandem jumps.

Okay, I can’t do the italics, so I’m leaving it this way.

What does how we respond to Obama have to do with Haiti? You did bring that up. Your complaint was that we’re posting things unworthy of FR and sounding like lefties.

Now, what I’m hearing from you is like something John McCain would say. We’re supposed to be the ones who ‘rise above it all’. While I give Pres. Bush credit for being classy, part of me wishes he’d stayed away from Barry and done his own thing if he wanted to help Haiti.

Frankly, FR is one of the few places where Barry’s bum is not kissed on a daily basis, his wife is NOT a fashionista and we can still criticize without being thrown in the gulag.

Be civil if ‘you’ like. But don’t trash the whole of FR for this man. He’s not worth it.

I would appreciate it if you would not mix my comments with those that you have made when you respond to a post. If you are unable to somehow separate my comments, feel free not to quote them.

Nothing that I wrote trashes 'the whole of FR. You made comments, and I responded to those comments directly, mentioning very specific behavior on this forum. It is a shame that you find 'civil' so distasteful, but that is your choice. As a member of this forum, I am under no obligation to throw in with the South Park mentality you've adopted.

Peace.
