President Barack Obama on Saturday brought together his White House predecessors, Republican George W. Bush and Democrat Bill Clinton, for a joint appeal for victims of Haiti's devastating earthquake.

and that is exactly what it is...
Bush should keep his mouth shut instead supporting a degenerate tyrant from Kenya. What is the matter with him?
The Bush boys are just incurably stupid. His father put Souter on the court and little George helped the democrat party immensely by refusing to speak out against its 8 year attack on his White House and republicans in general. Now he becomes a prop for Hussein’s 24/7 display of arrogance. Incredible.
Smooooth. Bush was not only being classy; he just made himself a non-news item and put the Zer0 in the hotseat for the Charlie-Foxtrot-in-progress. I love political Aikido.
Bush should stay low profile in Texas. Hasnt he done enough to hurt the Republicans.
I think many are missing good ole George Bush about now... :-)
Well what?
Bush still seems to be practicing his “New Tone” thing that got him a 27% rating when he left office.
Not to mention he, Rove and the GOP are the reason we have Hussien Now.
If Obama and Clinton had “respected” him after he left office, instead of constantly blaming him, I would agree.
But is was unheard of current Presidents to blame former presidents. Afterall, it is a unique club.
Well?
and different issues and circumstances call for different responses... this Haiti relief issue is not one where President Bush should have blasted the President... President Bush isn't being a fool here like some FReepers say... he knows who he is... he is confident in who he is... what people think about him doesn't shape him... i think it takes character and inner strength to not get defensive over very little things... this is a little thing... i'm glad he's not petty like the Clintons and Obamas... yuck!
WASHINGTON - The ill winds of an angry electorate are blowing against Democrats, the warning signs clear in a closer-than-expected Massachusetts Senate race that may doom President Barack Obama's health care agenda and foreshadow the party's election prospects this fall.
President George Bush was out and around and was seen in this shop. Someone asked him if he thought that Obama would be able to help Coakley in Massachusetts in keeping Senator Kenney's seat.
[ ... you can see who is laughing the most about that one... LOL... ]
Read that the French were waiting to depart with wounded french citizens but the US wouldn’t allow their plane to depart.
After strong protests the French were allowed to leave.
The French have had search and rescue teams on the ground from day one.
I am sick of the posturing that goes on. No doubt we have Weasley Clark types still behaving stupidly.
If Obama and Clinton had respected him after he left office, instead of constantly blaming him, I would agree.

It was "unheard of" -- until -- you got Clinton and Obama... 'nuff said... LOL...
[ ... that tells you all you need to know.. :-) ... ]
I miss George W. like I miss Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford.
They knew Croakley was in trouble way back in ‘05? :o)
“Only an idiot would respond to a president who has blamed him over and over again.”
I don’t understand this either, but Bush was always buddying up with those that trashed him. I just don’t get it. It makes him look like a weak man.
George W. Bush should have declined the invitation and had his father George H.W. Bush do the honors. That would have been the smart thing to do.
I don’t miss Nixon; he’s responsible for Red China’s survival (rescued them in ‘72)
sorry, should have said /sarc.
Smooooth. Bush was not only being classy; he just made himself a non-news item and put the Zer0 in the hotseat for the Charlie-Foxtrot-in-progress. I love political Aikido.
[ When asked if Obama was doing better than him, Bush had a hard time answering... ]
Of course, it would be inappropriate to cause a stink at a time like this but I sure wish Bush had not commented at all on Obama's work performance and just focused on those on the ground and those suffering.
“Its not our fault. The Haitians were demanding something in return for allowing us to control their airport.
And something more to allow our troops out into the city.”
You make them sound like Louisiana Democrats.
