So Barack Obama now is President of Haiti? So because Haiti basically had no adequately functioning government for decades the United States must step into the breach to manage its affairs?

It’s because he cares a lot more about Haiti than a terrorist attack on the United States, which he couldn’t be moved to talk about for days.

He’s rushing into a Hatian quagmire.

Katrina politicised all future natural disasters.

It’s Obama’s idea of looking Presidential.
If he appears often it seems as though he is
doing that much more, he is engaged etc.
Plus it only costs him some free airtime.

“O” is out of his depth in the WH, so to speak publically at all without looking butt stupid, he has to stick to emotional issues. THAT his base can relate to... because THEY don’t know squat EITHER!!

Because all the usual suspects are poised to go in and make a profit and they need/want the entire investment to be picked up by the American taxpayer. We pay, they profit.

Clinton Cheers Investor Turnout At Haiti Meeting

Bill Clinton Cheers Turnout By Hundreds Of International Investors At Haiti Conference

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2009/10/01/ap/world/main5357203.shtml

From the article:
“Representatives from George Soros’ Open Society Institute told The Associated Press about a planned partnership with Haitian shipper Gregory Mevs and help from the IADB to build a $50 million free-trade zone of clothing factories near the Cite Soleil slum.”

Now they can just bulldoze the slums. They were already planning to build a new airport. I predict that two years from now instead of garment factories there will be hotels in place of the demolished buildings. The “investors” just had to figure out a way to get all those pesky Haitians out of the way.

Also, don’t be surprised to see the Haitian banking laws tweeked. Can you say Cayman Islands II? Why shelter your billions all the way over in Switzerland when they’ll rat you out to the Feds when shortly you will be able to park your $$$ off the coast of Florida. And its all in the name of HUMANITARIAN AID.

Pssst, Barry....they’re not African Americans. You don’t have to pretend to be one of them.

Exactly! Last night on Greta, the Ambassador was on, talking about the talks and negotiations!, going on and said he did not want to hand over sovereignty to the U.S. !

That’s what’s holding up the aid.

What is Obama, Axlerod, Rham Emannuel demanding of them? We will never know.

There comes a time in every president’s tenure when they realize that they are not in campaign mode anymore...when will his time come?

Actions speak better than words Mabus. Like your action of canceling a Job’s summit citing preoccupations with the Haiti disaster the same day you spent in backroom talks with union leaders trying to get support for your horrible health care bill; on top of that planning a trip to Massachusetts to campaign for the wreck Coakley is leading.

Maybe he wants to be the President of Haiti after he gets impeached in 2010.

Here's question : what do George Washington and Hussein have in common?

Nothing, of course.

So why does this script reading oaf insist on posing in front of a painting of our first and greatest president?

The comments are almost entirely anti-Obama - that he’s politicizing this for his own benefit, that he’s distracting attention from the healthcare mess, that he’s campaigning for himself, etc. Quite a laugh for the alphabet network.

I hope Jake Tapper has someone else start his car every morning. This is the third or fourth time he's questioned the Exalted One.
