Wow. Wow. Wow. Not a surprise "Wow." But like "wow" is Senate candidate Martha Coakley so politically unaware that she just said what all those liberals actually think about religious people.
Martha Coakley said on the radio that she's against conscience protections and then added in answer to a question about Catholics in particular:
"you can have religious freedom but you probably shouldnt work in an emergency room.
So what she's saying is that you can believe whatever you want but you have to do what the government tells you to do. So you can have your religion as long as it doesn't affect your life.
I can't imagine this will help her chances in Catholic-heavy Massachusetts.
Check out the video at CMR.

Another side of socialized medicine: government will tell health care workers where they can work and what type of work they can do. We need primary care docs...you will do a family practice residency. You are a Catholic...you will not work in an ER.

MA is full of Italians and, of course, Irish. They may vote Dem, but many are practicing Catholics.

I am praying for a miracle, however The Mass Catholic`s in general have zero problem with aborting small children, has never phased them in the past, so why would they be bothered now by this? They keep electing Kerry and they kept electing Kennedy.
Why expect any different out of them now?
They're obviously clueless about what being a Catholic is really all about.
