On MSNBC Morning Joe this morning the gang slammed Rush Limbaugh by telling lies. They said Rush said not to donate to Haiti relief.
Rush did not say that. This just goes to show you where Morning Joe gets its info from... HuffPo.

More lies from the left. Rush said don’t give it to our government and give directly to proven, effective charities. If people have picked their camps by now they are roadkill in the coming war anyways...

I must have missed where the government was saying, "Donate to us and we'll get your money to Haiti." Everything I've seen is funneling money through private charities and NGOs.
Regardless, I see where Rush felt compelled to put of a Haitian news and where to donate banner on his website. I'm sure the MSM will say they're responsible for that.
The Weather Channel reported the same lie this morning, but they get their not-news from MSNBC.

Rush made the statement to not donate to the hatian relief through whitehouse.gov website. That website is left out of all the stories. His point was that why should the white house website be taking donations for the relief fund in the first place when there is already the Red Cross and a hell of a lot of out tax dollars are going to be spent there first.

I wonder why Rush just didn’t just say give to traditional relief agencies and just leave it at that. Before he mentioned it, how many people would have even thought about donating through the WH, much less actually have done it?
