maybe you missed how he also said he wants to bring over a 100,000 to 200,000 of them over here on a 18 month visa which we all know they will never go back.
it should be food, water, water, water, clothing , water, water, but cash, where does it go and how to track it will be hard.
the only group I send money to every month is st judes hospital as In know the money is well spent.

In katrina, chrurces gathered up stuff loaded it on a tractor trailer and sent it to NOLA and Missippi.
There was no provission to distribute or ware house it. The supplies were unloaded in field got wet and were ruined.

I remember the aftermath of Katina. To this day, I don’t think anyone knows what happened to the millions and millions (billions?) of dollars donated.
Who will oversee all the money currently donated?
The other thing I wonder is why donate money now? Why not wait until after all the donated goods and money have been distributed? I’m pretty sure it is so that it’ll pay the salary and transportation of relief orgs to Haiti. So, much for volunteering.
