The first lady in 2010 will become the lead White House spokesman in an administrationwide battle against childhood obesity, taking on her first substantial role in advancing an Obama initiative.
Michelle Obama said dealing with childhood obesity will be a "major" project for her second year as first lady, and she did not rule out testifying before Congress.
"If it's helpful, I wouldn't say no," she said.
In her first year, Mrs. Obama tried to avoid any controversy and was ultra-cautious about taking any political risks, wanting to avoid mistakes on the campaign trail that might have portrayed her as an angry woman.

Did she give up on her project of helping military families, that was all photo op at the first of the year.. maybe she found out that military families, can take of them selves as a rule, and do not need her inexperience on the matter..
Ugh! Looking at that picture I’m reminded of how classy Laura Bush is. Mz. 0 has 20-30 ladies in waiting and she goes outside looking like that? She could have at least used a strap perfect.

Has anyone found the place in the U.S. Constitution where it lists the duties of the first lady? Has anyone found the place where it specifies that the White House is supposed to dictate the lifestyle of our nation’s children?
Marxists can’t help themselves, controlling every aspect of Marxism’s collective property, the citizens under it’s thumb.
Michelle, I’m sorry your life has no meaning, but don’t try to gain meaning by taking over the lives of our nation’s youth. Get your own house in order, if you need something to make you feel better.
I hope she can hace a positive effect on this issue.
