First lady Michelle Obama told reporters Wednesday that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid doesn’t owe her an apology over his racial comments about her husband’s electoral chances because she knows Reid so well.

“Harry Reid has no need to apologize to me because I know Harry Reid. I measure people more so on what they do rather than the things they say,” said Obama, in a roundtable with several media outlets, including POLITICO.

Should Pinky Reid (I use Reid's nickname for the skin color thing so ingrained in Democrat identity politics) resign for the same reason Trent Lott had to resign? Given Obama’s extraordinarily thin record of actual accomplishment, tens of millions of voters relied on his fine-sounding promises such as his assurance that health care negotiations would be put on C-SPAN for all to see. His actions on this any a long string of other campaign promises have provided us with a far more accurate and negative measure of the man. It is clear from his steadily declining approval ratings that Obama never would have been elected had his verbal promises matched what he actually intended to do.

Someone should ask Michele whether her husband owes the American public an apology for having gotten himself elected on a pack of lies.
