House panel rejects Panther resolution

The Democrat-controlled House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday rejected by a 15-14 vote a resolution of inquiry that would have forced the Justice Department to tell Congress why it dismissed a civil complaint against members of the New Black Panther Party who disrupted a Philadelphia polling place in the November 2008 election.

The party-line vote had been sought by Rep. Frank R. Wolf, Virginia Republican, who, along with Rep. Lamar Smith of Texas, ranking Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, said they have been unable to get information from the department on the complaint's dismissal.

"I am deeply disappointed that the Judiciary Committee defeated my resolution of inquiry on a party-line vote. There has been no oversight, no accountability and certainly no transparency with regard to this attorney general and this Department of Justice," Mr. Wolf said.

"Where is the 'unprecedented transparency' that this administration promised? Where is the honesty and openness that the majority party pledged? The American people deserve better," he said.

..."I sincerely question the judgment of the Civil Rights Division leadership — both in its dismissal of this case and its stonewalling of this Congress and the Commission on Civil Rights," he said.

When in the course of human events... these a**holes are moving us more and more to civil war. It will not just be us against the government, but it will be racial as well. I think this, along with the pushing of reporters and the beating up of people at tea parties sets a very dangerous precedent. More importantly the fact that nobody is ever prosecuted when the dems attack people only encourages more violence. They have the manpower in the form of SEIU and ACORN. They don't have to worry about being prosecuted. And their complete control over law enforcement guarantees that we will be disarmed in any confrontation. And if we try to fight back you can guarantee we will be prosecuted and sent to prison.

But what I find more upsetting than all of that is that with the exception of a few of us here a FR nobody seems upset by any of this. I fear that the era of freedom and democracy in America may be coming to an end. A people who cannot be bothered to defend their freedom will not long have it.

Cloward Pivins strategy is to destroy everything, including our electoral system. This is what the democrats are doing to our elections. Illegals vote, the dead, the unknowing, the fictitious, etc. characters all vote. This is the reason they fight tooth and nail to stop any effort to pass a voter ID legislation. One vote per real person would destroy the democrat party and their destructive agenda.
IF the Republicans ever get full power again, this is what they should take up first - one legitimate vote per citizen. They'd stay in power for decades.
