The let-them-eat-cake campaign.
Thats how bad it is for Martha Coakley: Even some big-time Democrats are calling her Senate run that.
What happened?
Well, man crushes are breaking out all over. Every time you turn on cable, theres chiseled Scott Brown doing the Mount Rushmore thing.
Theres the two Rushmore-ettes, Browns gorgeous daughters, jumping into the fray. Revved-up voters are 15 deep in line for absentee ballots in the Peoples Republic of Sharon, for Gods sake, and across the state. (Sharon Town Clerk Marlene B. Chused does caution: Sharon is among many towns also voting Tuesday on 2 overrides or other hot local issues. Still, she said, This is much higher than weve experienced for a state or local election.
Meanwhile the attorney general, whos not done a star turn with Sean Hannity on Fox News, turned up yesterday at the Kit Clark Senior Center in Dorchester, a bracing reminder of where were all headed. Ethel Hart was not the only Kit Clark regular confused by the media crush, but she kept her tart edge.
I forget my own age, she laughed and slapped her side when asked for it. And I want to forget it too. Im 92. Im too old! I wish I could be 75!
So whos she voting for Tuesday? When I get to the polls Ill find out whos running for what, Ethel said. Thats if somebody will take me there.
For her part, Martha took to the microphone and denied that shes getting desperate. She said she didnt know details about fisticuffs between a campaign worker and a Weekly Standard reporter (though it happened right next to her). She also refused to be baited into criticizing the chief Rushmore-ette, Ayla Brown, the American Idol star who called Coakleys recent ads inaccurate and misleading for claiming her father sponsored an amendment denying emergency contraception to rape victims. For the record, he did.
But facts get lost when half the states in a swoon and the other halfs still lukewarm about crisp, cool Martha.
Yesterday, pollster Scott Rasmussen, whose latest poll called the once-supposed Coakley slam dunk too close to call, told me not to throw myself off the Tobin - yet. Itll take a perfect storm for Brown to win, he said. Key is turnout: mountainous for Coakley, piddling for Brown.
My advice to Martha: Bring in the forklifts.
BTTT!
~~Scott Brown ... PING!
First question Gail should ask, Ms. AG, why haven't you prosecuted the last 3 Speakers of the House, that all had to resign, all dems? Why are the Feds doing your job? Second why haven't you prosecuted anyone in Boston Mayor Menino's staff. You know with all the missing emails from city computers. Regarding corruption in the Mayors Office forcing builders to see things the Mayors way. Why haven't you prosecuted the gentleman involved in the email scandal, that has now been arrested for drug possession and sales?
Egan is a first class harpie.

Margery writes at about a middle school level. It takes real stamina to get through her columns.
Is Gail well respected in her job? Does she have a following?
Sorry to tell everybody, “but all your hope” want make Scott Brown win. It is one of those local elections where the rest of the nation wants it to go one way, and the voters are going to go another.
We will see on Tuesday.
Wow, check out the comments on the link. They are universally savaging Margery Eagan for her article. Love it!
Yes, well respected. My wife used to work for the same company, nothing but praise
LOL .. they sure are .. here’s a spelling gem, too ..omg
“Do you ever right anything Margie concerning anything other than femusit propoganda”
AND WE CAN HELP MAKE IT HAPPEN!
WE CAN SEND SCOTT BROWN TO THE US SENATE AND PUT A STOP TO THE HEALTH CARE FIASCO BILL!
Remember, even small donations of $10 or $20 are a great help! Let's make it happen and send Scott Brown to the Senate!

Everyone and anyone that I’ve talked to are voting for Scott Brown. Of course I live only a few towns away from where he lives. He just happens to live in the town that I went to high school as well!
I do realize we live in a democratic state, but I am hoping for a miracle.
Everyone will be watching the returns come in next Tuesday, for sure!
GO SCOTT!

We keep praying ..
