The main point I was trying to make in my post was that only the US and Canada in the Western Hemisphere have prospered, and, I believe that this has much to do with the Christian principles of our founders. What I think was unfortunate about Rev. Robertson's statement was that many people take what he said as a statement that the earthquake was punishment from God. The "rain falls on the just and the unjust", so I don't believe we can play God and decide when an event is punishment from God
