The main point I was trying to make in my post was that only the US and Canada in the Western Hemisphere have prospered, and, I believe that this has much to do with the Christian principles of our founders. As to the whole Satanic pact deal, I don't know if it is factual or not. Since you provided a web-link, I'll provide one also that has some points made by a Haitian Christian.

What I think was unfortunate about Rev. Robertson's statement was that many people take what he said as a statement that the earthquake was punishment from God. The "rain falls on the just and the unjust", so I don't believe we can play God and decide when an event is punishment from God

It’s not all that common for satan’s work to see a LOT of the light of day or to be heralded and documented far and wide in the light of day.
However, I will watch and see if there’s other confirmation of his perspective.
I believe the other narrative has a fair amount of confirmation . . . evidently sans pig statue. Or else, the pig statue was removed at a propitious time.
I certainly believe the narratives about the Klintoons’ involvement in Aristide’s satan worship stuff. That’s right down their alley.
