Im told reliably:
1. Internal Democratic polls have the race close, with a small and fading Coakley (Dem) lead.
2. One Republican poll, and one poll for an independent group, now actually have Brown (Rep) up by a few points.
3. The Democrats are pouring everything inone report is that the buy behind this DSCC ad against Brown is close to a million dollars.
The Democratic campaign now consists to a remarkable degree simply of screaming that Brown equals Bush/Republican/right-wing. It could workor has Brown done a good enough job of introducing himself to Mass. voters that most will shrug this charge off? And are independents more worried about those now in power in D.C.Obama/Pelosi/Reidthan about the theoretical threat of right-wing Republican governance?
If he wins, may I call him “Brownie?”
“If he wins, may I call him Brownie?
Well, it is a “horse race”
I’ve been placing calls for Brown. If my unofficial tally has any accuracy then Brown will win by a wide margin.
I think the knock down of the reporter by the Croakly thug (with video and pictures) is worth a $2 million ad for Brown.
And the reporter thumping isn’t even figured into the poll yet.
His reply to the “Kennedy Seat” remark will win the hearts of the electorate............
Brown, from what I can tell, has done a good job talking about issues - health care debacle, economy, jobs, etc - while Coakley has gone great guns into the personal attacks - that's a bad, bad sign for Coakley.
“And are independents more worried about those now in power in D.C.Obama/Pelosi/Reidthan about the theoretical threat of right-wing Republican governance?”
Short answer: Yes!
Brown needs to attack Coakley for raising so much out of state money.
I don’t know if there was a FR post of this.
Internal Memo To Top Dem Donors Warns Mass Senate Race Is Very Tight, Urgent

Jeeze I wish that Mass. voters would somehow come to their senses.... Oh that’s right, most of them don’t have any sense.
It is my opinion that once a trend like this gathers momentum, the other side cannot win the race by their own efforts.
If Brown indeed has the momentum on his side, and has gained a lead, nothing short of a major gaffe on his part can lose the race.
I think the debate was the turning point, and Coakley has been tagged as a “loser” and “weak.” She can’t overcome that.
I keep saying that Brown is a done deal. He is the 41st senator. In the same way that Hillary went down with
Hillary care, Brown will win becasue they do not want Obama care.
Scott Brown has it in the bag.
His money bomb had out of state money. Small donations from all over the country.
I doubt it.
It is doubtful if Brown has ever even spoken to Bush or Cheney in his entire life.
Coakley has been pushing the “Bush is Hitler” meme for the past 3 months, and all it's done is send her lead from 30% to only 2% in the latest Rasmussen polls.
Massachusetts people are not as stupid as the Democrats think they are.
Hopefully, Coakley will continue with her “Bush/Cheney/Palin are satan” meme for the rest of this campaign. That would be the best thing she could do for Brown.
I’m praying and I hope everyone else does too.
if brown wins its the end of obamacare.
I wish they’d just hurry up and have the vote already—without having to worry about the momentum holding for another 6 days!
You’re looking at it all wrong, the momentum will hold, but it’s also 6 more days for Coakley and the Dems to screw up some more.
Well from what I saw of the debate, Brown is the most cautious citizen I have ever seen. The guy just can't be drown out much to go off message on anything. He totally keeps himself very much in check. There will be no gaffs from this guy.
