...I am afraid Sarah Palin is going to harm herself unintentionally over this tea party convention in Nashville...
Let me be blunt: charging people $500.00 plus the costs of travel and lodging to go to a National Tea Party Convention run by a for profit group no one has ever heard of sounds as credible as an email from Nigeria promising me a million bucks if I fork over my bank account number...

I agree with you, but watch out, Smoking Joe will be along to call you a drug addict! You are not allowed to have a different opinion or analysis of her chances.
CPAC is headed by questionable people like David Keene. She was wise to decline that offer. He has badmouthed her anyway.
The $550 plus fee is just to get into the convention. I have a sneaking suspicion that Palin, if she's really going to speak, will get considerably more than that.
Nobody cares that she’s making a profit, silly.
The argument is that a fake grassroots organization is profiting from her.
Why aren’t you asking who is behind the “grassroots” scene? Where is any profit going to go? Will it be put back into activism, education, or someone’s pocket?
Pretending to think this is about Palin is lemming-like.
I guess my question to you would be what do you want, a conservative party, or a conservative government with conservative policies? Remember the lesson of Ross Perot. People liked his ideas, and sneered at Bush the Elder, but they got Clinton instead. In my opinion, the Republican Party needs to return to and run on the ideas that got Reagan elected, and the ideas that carried the Republicans to take over Congress in 1994. As long as the Republicans are “Me, too” Democrats, they are going to be losers. That is why I like Palin, because she is articulating a clear conservative message that the Republicans need to take up and run with.
Well, then someone should investigate this group then and find out what they are doing with the money
Well sure, but I think Joe supports Palin.
Its kinda funny really. The money the GOP is struggling to get seems to be turning up in other places like a million dollars for an ad against Harry Reid in Nevada or a mil.5 for Brown in Mass.
It’s somewhat over $500, but not just for registration. That amount gets you into all of the functions, including a reception, two dinners, and two continental breakfasts. In addition to Sarah, Michelle Bachman (sp?) and Marsha Blackburn will be speakers. If the Tea Party movement makes a certain profit, that’s fine with me. So far the money’s been well spent.
"Concern trolls" - I like it. I've been wondering what to call this type of thing.
Thanks for the new enemy infiltration identifier.
Do you think Palin is making a mistake by jumping into this convention without knowing exactly who is behind it, and where the money will go that’s being earned? She’s already been cancelled by the previous SA convention.
Do you think she so eager to flex her independent teaparty muscles by slapping the GOP around, that she’s not looking at the bigger picture, and how it can affect her?
You Palinistas would lead your girl to the nearest cliff and help her jump off it wasn’t for the rest of us watching her back.
Of course she can win, but listen to yourself, you seem to know that we could get one of the rarest victories in American politics, a conservative winning the republican nomination for president, but your biggest concern is that the media doesn’t like her.
Of course the media doesn’t like her, their reaction will be the same to any conservative that is in a position to actually win the republican nomination, as rare an event as that is.
If you think those three republicans that I mentioned are “well-respected” then you show your colors, those are all media approved, Rockefeller/Romney type republicans, that did not please the republican base.
By the way, Governor Palin is a wife, mother, conservative, and a Christian, why did you call her a Ms.?
Let us fully support Sarah Palin as she brings the conservative Tea Party Movement into being a full fledged political party. Google sarahpalin/teapartymovement. com. We must support this movement to the fullest since the RNC does not recognize conservative principles. We can rise like Phoenix to take matters into our own hands. For future generations. Any money we can contribute will be the best money we could ever spend. Contact all your cyber friends. Get the word out. We can do it!
Palin was committed to attending a convention in San Antonio that was being put on by people with little ability to put on something of that size or importance. People were asking questions, and suddenly voila! It’s cancelled.
The San Antonio party were able to hook Hannity, Malkin, and Ingraham too, based on Palin’s draw. They were charging more per head than Nashville.
In circles outside FR, plenty of people were discussing it, because nobody could understand why Palin would so quickly agree to attend without knowing with who or what she was agreeing to. That Hannity, Malkin and Ingraham joined in, isn’t surprising, considering Palin’s endorsement.
Now she’s onboard for Nashville. Of course people are looking at who is behind this too, including the author of the piece that started this thread (which isn’t about Palin earning money, but rather-where is the money going that she’s helping people earn!).
You would, wouldn't ya?
“Sarah Palin has alot of appeal but I dont see her being able to overcome the giggle factor.
—snip—
However, I dont think people will take her seriously”
It's irrelevant what you “see” or “don't see” her doing. In real life, she is polling better than any other potential GOP candidate amongst Republicans, and the Fox/Opinion Dynamivs poll has her polling about even amongst independents, which is curenly better than 0bozo or any other Democratic Party politicians(0bozo, Reid, Pelosi whoever) is doing.
Why do you anti-Palin bots insist on ignoring the facts every single time in order to push your anti-Palin agenda, which is inevitably based on nothing but hot air?
LOL, don't think so. She hasn't even started at fox and already Lib heads are exploding around the "elite" media. I love it...GO SARAH!
After seeing Mrs.Palin handle herself in the last campaign
and up to today I believe she has a plan and knows where
she wants to go to represent the people of this nation.
Her opposition continues to pin the umprepared, not ready,
uneducated label on her and I have yet to see it stick.
I believe that the democrats will find they have bitten
off more of the momma bear than they can spit out fast
enough to keep from getting their ass handed to them.
Sarah keeps making all the right moves as far as I’m
concerned and I look forward to supporting her in the
coming struggle.
