A "money-bomb" online fundraiser by Scott Brown, the Republican candidate in next week's special election for Ted Kennedy's Senate seat in Massachusetts, has been a smashing success today.
The original goal for the money-bomb, entitled "Red Invades Blue," was to raise $500,000 today. As of this writing, he has exceeded that goal -- he is now at $626,375.87 -- and he's headed towards a new goal of $750,000.
Regardless of whether Brown wins or loses in this Democratic state, one thing is clear: National conservative activists have been able to take a clear interest in this race, and they could mobilize themselves for a cause in a similar way to the liberal Netroots during the Bush years.
Late Update: At about 6:15 p.m. ET, the money-bomb reached $750,018.81.

I will be over the moon if he wins!!! Hoping.
I think that a lot of people are upset about the Dem leadership in other States treating it like it is their seat instead of the people of Massachusetts’ seat. They are acting like this is the House of Lords or something.
I had a former tag line that said, "Barack Obama: Lame duck in 2009."
Is this set to the tune of "Jaws?"

Great idea!
Donated yesterday from Colorado. Would be proud to see the “swimmer” be replaced by someone not committed to evil!!!
I wish Dear Leader would go there! Just behind him are Hitler, Stalin. Mao and Pol Pot. But, they are all dead and Zero is not. He should be passing out the Lucifer bumper stickers.
The only thng I disagree with Morris about is that Obama could still lose Healthcare if Mass goes red because the House will be too scared to comit sucide for Obama. Up until now they have been telling themselves that Americans would forget and all would be good for re election. If Brown wins that thought is dead! Combine that with the Unions being p*ssed and threatening no money in 2010-12.....
You know I keep thinking that the first shots in the first Revolution were at Lexington and Concord perhaps the second is starting in the same place? G-d really does have a sense of humor!
Sent $50 this evening.
The dems must be worried, especially the ones coming up for re-election.
