As Florida Republicans struggle to define their future, a towering figure from the past has returned to call the shots. Former Gov. Jeb Bush retreated from the public spotlight when he left office in 2006, becoming almost reclusive. But in the last six months, Bush, revered by the party's conservative base, has reasserted his influence and is helping remake the state's political landscape more to his liking. In the process, Bush has dimmed the star of Gov. Charlie Crist.

I will never vote for either for office. If Jeb stays behind the scenes, okay but how can I forget he stood down upon W's order? Crist as FL ag was a Greer buddy.
Killing Terri is now hurting Crist. about damn time but what goes around comes around. I have the thread about Crist & Terri on my links.
Jeb’s picture the day he SOLD OUT TERRI is on an image search. I’ll try to find it.
FV says, how so, Jesse????? and, Jeb, what did you tell Jesse to make him say that?
Terri was on the brink that day but instead of being saved -she lost what remained of her civil rights as an American citizen.
CNN presser specifically. I bet it was deleted.
Why doesn’t properties work any more? are more images protected or is my pc broken? I can’t paste to FR.
so says the leader of the Brazilian movement
Marco is a protege of Jeb and his business and political partner, Al Cardenas.
They are singlehandedly working to destroy Charlie Crist. If Charlie is smart, he will go back to the Governor’s race and stay there.
I have another suspicion out there, only a hunch. Mittens Romney is a stalking horse for the Bush Familia. Mitt’s refusal to attend the Southern Republican Leadership Conference is a huge signal that he can’t beat Palin in a stand-up fight. However, Jeb might be able to do so.
Big brawl a’ comin’. Expect Darth (the Cheney faction) to sign up with Palin. Lots of bad blood to be spilled.
It’s the old Goldwater Faction vs. the Rockefeller Republicans fight to happen all over again, with Palin representing the Reaganites and Jeb Bush representing the Establishment (the “safe pair of hands” conservative). Trust me: I can already see this line of attack beginning to form up. I was just wondering how the Bushes were going to shove Romney out of the way.
The problem for the establishment? The bad blood between Movement Conservatives and the Bush family. They’ve led the Republican Party into a blind alley in two elections.
Best,
Chris
Jeb Bush has consistently said something has to be done about the legalizing the illegals.
He may not run for senate but he may run to ensure Rubio is either a viable VP “short lister” and beholding to “the one that brung ya”
I KNOW Sarah Palin is the reason I pulled for McCain.
McCain wanted a skirt since he could not have country club buddy lieberman (supposedly).
McCain did not think Palin the conservative mattered.
Remember McCain surrendered MICHIGAN and did not think “joe the plumber” was relavent.
Washington DC has lost complete reality with teh electorate. The insiders DO thnk they can take turns as to who is or is not president or in power.
