Google says it’s working to fix a bug in Google Suggest that is blocking search suggestions related to Islam. As The Next Web has reported, typing Islam is into Google shows no terms from Google Suggest.
But replace Islam with a number of other major religions — such as Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, etc. — and Google Suggest shows a variety of terms, including many negative ones like … is a lie, is false, is a cult, etc. The discrepancy between how these religions are portrayed and the lack of suggested terms for Islam is led some to accuse Google of favoritism.
Not so, Google says. A spokesperson tells us: “This is a bug and we’re working to fix it as quickly as we can.”
In mid July 2008 I watch in horror as google “disappeared” over half a million hits on image searches for “obama birth certificate”.
I use Bing now.

The only bug you have to worry about is the "Bing Bug".
We’re using the IXQuick.com metasearch engine in the highest security/privacy mode. No IP address saved or passed through, no search result information saved, and everything is done in SSL.
You can get Bing, Yahoo, and Ask (I think Ask uses Google though) through it, though.
Aw come on, they’ve only had 6 days to fix this. Are you expecting a miracle???

“Islam is” works on Bing with no prob. Maybe Google should call MS and ask them how to fix theirs? LMAO!

Here’s a simple test. Go to Google, enter “XXX is”, where XXX = Chrsitianity, Catholicism, Mormonism, Judaism. See what populates. (hint - it will list “a cult, bullshit, not a religion, evil, etc...) Then try using Islam. No suggestions will appear.
Now do the same thing on Bing. Not much will come up for any of the first group. But Islam will return “evil” as the top suggestion. As well as “the relgion of peace, a lie, the work of the devil, etc...”
