John McCains top campaign strategist said in an interview Sunday that Sarah Palin was dishonest as the GOPs vice-presidential nominee and that her untruths have done long-term damage to her public image.
There were numerous instances that she said things that were that were not accurate that ultimately, the campaign had to deal with, said Steve Schmidt in an interview broadcast on CBSs 60 Minutes. And that opened the door to criticism that she was being untruthful and inaccurate. And I think that is something that continues to this day.
OUR COUNTRY IS FALLING APART....illegal backroom deals, bombers getting on planes, criminals in the White House and what does 60 MINUTES CHOOSE to report on...Unfreakingbelievable. But who cares..nobody watches.
Steve is a piece of schmidt.
This guy has had a major hard on for her since the campaign.
Consider the source.
No kidding? Who'd a thunk it? When are we going to begin seeing this "long term damage?"
Screw CBS, Politico, and Steve Schmitt. And throw in McCane
CBS ‘60 MINUTES IGNORES HARRY REID ‘NEGRO’ REVELATION DURING INTERVIEW WITH ‘GAME CHANGE’ BOOK AUTHORS... DEVELOPING...
per Drudge
Schmidt has trouble with loyalty. That makes him a totally worthless human being in my eyes. He needs to go over to the Obamites and stay there.
Typical McCainiac/Romney guy. The GOP needs a good house cleaning.
Since he claimed ther were “many instances” of untruths, he could be a lot more credible if he described some specifically. I doubt he can.
'Sumptin' tells me that ol Stevie is a 'widdle' angry at Palin for not bending over....poor baby.
I think Sarah Palin is a gift to this hurting nation by God, myself. And I also think that the single most important thing McCain ever did aside from his HEROIC ACTIONS in our MILITARY SERVICE and his TREMENDOUS SUPPORT OF OUR TROOPS is that he INTRODUCED the GOVERNOR of ALASKA to this nation.
Note to Steve: You lose.
He sure is. I can't imagine anyone ever hiring him again.
GOP does need a good enema.
Better yet, how many pieces has Politico devoted to Obama’s “trouble with truth”? This is nothing more than evidence of left wing journalists reporting on what other left wing journalists have to say.
McCain, standing up for the ladies, are ya’?
I know, I know , I know the pitfalls of a third party, but damn, sometimes....
Schmidt is a creep and a liar, out to make a fast buck while attempting to deflect attention from his failures.
When will he be on MSNBC promoting his crap???
I read the politico article and I couldn’t find a single example of how “Palin has trouble with [the] truth.” I saw mention of what could (charitibly) be called a difference of opinion, with absolutely no facts to back up Mr. Schmidt’s criticism.
Steve Schmidt is a schmuck.
