Late last night, the White House announced that there would be no pool coverage for Sunday, January 10. While the President had no scheduled events this weekend, there was pool coverage yesterday.
It could be a mere coincidence, or it could be that the White House is trying to catch its breath before responding to bombshell revelations in the upcoming book Game Change, excerpts of which poured out all day yesterday. President Obama already issued a statement about Harry Reids negro dialect quote, but even more explosive passages have emerged since.
The newest passages from the book to hit Marc Ambinders blog could be even more explosive than Reids, as several of them involve the Clintons. Among these is an anecdote about the late Ted Kennedy taking offense at President Clintons assertion that A few years ago this guy (Barack Obama) would have been getting us coffee.
While pool reporters are normally just there to observe and report, the only thing stopping them from peppering the President with questions is the icy stare of the press staff.
Also of interest, Jake Tapper reviews President Obamas responses to other racially incendiary remarks in the past, which have some crying Hypocrisy! I would point out that the devil is in the details. In each case, Obama provides a fairly clear rationale. In Reids case, it seems he earned a storehouse of goodwill that the others cited did not.
He is a white man who has labeled himself as a black man.
I have never thought Clinton was dumb. He is morally corrupt but he was a good politician no matter how much I disagreed with him. The Clintonistas were as dumbfounded as conservatives about Obama.
Perhaps I am wrong, but I believe Clinton (and many other democrats) did not believe Obama was qualified for the office and I agree with them.
Grabbing my popcorn to watch the news this week.
or a golf course...
Is this a real photo or photoshopped??
For those of us who missed it, could you elaborate on what Glenn said and when?
no
While on the TV the other night a producer gave him a thumbs up that a confirmation on some info came in on his blackberry (whatever he is using).
Glenn says it will make the ACORN deal look tiny and he says "they" are not going to be happy.
I wonder if Brietbart is involved.....
He is getting thorazine IV’s.
You assume he cares what we think or want. He does not.
When I was in the Pentagon many years ago working nights, I saw a 2 star getting coffee at one of the all night places, obviously for several people. I presumed that he lost at 3-coin and was a good guy. But still...
Is that right? I’m not about to buy the damned book.
Funny that you say that....Because I have believed right along that he takes some kind of meds....Of course, he gets them under the table....

That ordinarily doesn't stop that obsequious pack of partisan camp followers when the President is a Demwit. They merely have NO INTEREST in asking those questions.
It’s always been true that you can be as racist or as sexist as you want, so long as you do what the liberals want you to do.
Because for them, “racist” and “sexist” aren’t acts, they are political weapons.
He never came out of the closet. He’s lived his entire life in the closet, ask Larry Sinclair and Michael Signator.
Michael Signator? Dare I ask?
But he had a rock star political career anyway. Tells you something about the electorate we share our land mass with, the kind of people who would give this guy a decades long electoral base. Sad beyond belief.
There was an article that had a short excerpt/quotes. I’ll try and find it.
