Did anyone ever hear anymore about the two (or three) Brits who were detained after they made comments or threats aboard the flight flying out of Heathrow tonight? I just saw a couple reports on Fox, and it was the same sort of thing, drunk, unruly passengers making threats. But they didn’t identify the ethnicity of the men, nor did they mention what the threats were.
Kathy Wright, spokeswoman for the FBI in Denver, said the FBI has asked the Colorado Springs police to continue to detain the passenger.
Wright said that prior to the plane’s departure from Colorado Springs, FBI agents interviewed the AirTran flight crew and passengers. Also interviewed were the police who took the passenger off the plane, she said.
Wright said the agents are investigating allegations that the disruptive passenger grabbed a flight attendant and that he also removed his shoes during the incident.
Wright said the FBI will confer with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Denver. If charges are filed, the FBI will release the name, age and hometown of the passenger.

They were described as “white Englishmen,” but I don’t know what the threat was. The plane was still at the gate and supposedly they were drunk and rowdy. Maybe the flight attendants told them to sit down and they got obnoxious or something like that. The Heathrow incident does seem to be a genuine case of disruptive passengers.
