FORT WAYNE, IND. (WANE) - Congressman Mike Pence talked to NewsChannel 15’s Matt McCutcheon about a variety of issues in the New Year, including the economy, national security, and a potential run for President in 2012.
Despite the Winter Blast Thursday afternoon, Pence held town hall meetings in preparation for the upcoming session on Capitol Hill. In a sit down interview with NewsChannel 15, he said there’s a lot of work to be done during that session.
"This is about jobs and spending. The American people are tired of the failed economic policies of this administration and this congress. From the time they've passed their stimulus bill, we've seen unemployment rise from 7.5% to 10% nationally," Pence said.

“Will your name be on the list for contenders for President,” NewsChannel 15’s Matt McCutcheon asked. “Well... I don't know. If I'm re-elected in 2010, we'll take a look at a number of opportunities. I'm devoting all of my energy and all of my attention to winning back the congress and the statehouse for conservative values and we'll let the future take care of itself,” Pence said.
That’s who I’m on board with.
I too like Pence, altho I like Sarah a great deal, I would like to see her serve time doing some other things first. Not sure exactly what, but she needs more time to hone her skills. Pence on the other hand is ready to lead.

Under the article at the website there are some nasty comments by locals I would imagine. And yes it is too da— cold here to on Lake Erie!

Ouch! Lake effect, right? EXTRA COLD WINDS and COLD! YIKES! Where on Lake Erie? I used to spend a few weeks every summer at Lakeside (near Sandusky, even closer to Marblehead) where my grandparents had a cottage...remember getting mouthfuls of canadian soldiers at certain times of the yr.....ew!!!!! Also remember laying on the great pier of Lakeside and watching the water endlessly...could sometimes see Perry's Monument and could always see Kelly's Island from there.
News site like CNN, NY Times, WaPO, even Fox News have their comments dominated by DUmmies.

Wouldn’t even consider Pence. I first noticed him when, near the end of the 2006 amnesty debate, he came forward with a grand scheme to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. It was bizarre, the amnesty push was all but defeated and here he came with a plan he misrepresented in public:
