Let’s see. Now who said “The first order of business was the circumcision. The circumcision was to bind them as a people under HaShem, ONE NATION UNDER ONE GOD”? That would mean by whoever said that, that it was circumcision, not maternity that determined nationality.

I see so Jesus is either a Canaanite (Rahab) or a Moabite (Ruth).

I see now, so a person is a nation of one. Everyone is a nation unto themself. I suppose based on your definition we could each apply for foreign aid. How is this, Gen. 25:23 was a prophecy that was fulfilled in Deut. 26:5.
Now that makes sense like the prophecy in Gen. 3:15 “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”
Just to interject a point, the covenant said that EVERY male in the household, even servants, were to be circumcised. Circumcision did not make you Jewish. It was a sign that the household was under the covenant.
Grasping at straws, are ya? From Abraham’s folly of bedding an Egyptian came the legacy of Sarah. Ishmael began life as Hebrew, a person IN the circumcision, but once Isaac was born, and Sarah’s legacy took effect, any offspring of Ishmael was NOT Hebrew and was outside the Covenant.
Fast forward. If your father is Jewish, but your mother is NOT, YOU are not Jewish even if they circumcise you twenty times. OOOO. That even made me cringe, and I’m a girl.
